  1. What model classic is it? looks the bisuiness anyway!
  2. That's bloody good, how much would a lower grill for a blobeye cone too?
  3. Haha well he did look a bit 'speshel' so more than likely!
  4. Yea that's true Ryan I agree with you, thong could fairly shift for a pick up though! It would be pretty hard for him to improve his tines, as all he has to do is stomp on the accelerator and then hope it's a good start!
  5. Sti Pretender - did you not get a printout of your runs before you left? your car was looking really good on the track. Showed up that big Ford Lightning thing I hope! Chris - did you drive all the way home, cant believe something else went wrong again, next time im down and your there im coming for a run in the car the first sprint you do down the strip- cant risk something breaking 3 times before I get a go in it. Well done to your mate in the Skyline too, thats a serious bit of kit, and your other pal with the lotus - thats a spanking looking car
  6. Spoke to the G/f and she is keen for us to come on this as well. Lookinf forward to it already
  7. So with the wind chill it will actually be in the negatives then!
  8. Thats fine Lewis I have the voice o an angel! Il speak to you tonight at the meet or if you don't make It will you pm me your number on here or AS?
  9. Wish i could come down on Sunday to watch but my car goes in for a service on saturday and i'm not getting it back untill Tuesday. So if anyone is driving down from the NE and wouldnt mind a passenger...? Good luck and make sure you post up your times afterwards.
  10. really nice looking new car you managed to get yourself there. Hopefully this one doesn't suffer the same/similar fate!
  11. Alright Chris, glad you made it home/car into the garage - no more bad news for today I hope! So gutted when the caliper came off, couldnt believe you managed a very low 11sec run on only the first go, that skyline was so worried about racing you that i am sure he had something to do about it. Hopefully see you back there in 2 weeks but i am not promising anything as like I said, its an expensive month for me!
  12. Are you coming up chris? Only scoob here is an rb320
  13. Cool, we are aiming to be there at 10 anyway. Hopefully the weather stays fine and you can get some decent times down!
  14. Cheers for the advice, i'l have to go and introduce myself first though! This is one of the last crail meets for the year isn't it? So I imagine it will be quite busy in the arvo but my mate is aiming to be there for 10. Gates will be open by then won't they?
  15. I'm heading down on sunday with some mates from another car club, not taking the scoob as it needs tax and a service the following week so cant afford the extra cash as the moment. If your doing passenger runs (providing you have a seat ofcourse) i would bloody love it! See you on sunday.
  16. Ride height suit and looks bloody awesome!
  17. If you have just had your pipes changed for the radiator i would check that both the fans are connected. I say this because after my timing belt was changed I had the same overheating problem as you but this was due to my fans not being connected!
  18. Beauty! Hope you enjoy! Mind you, I imagine it's hard not too!
  19. Very tidy hatch, il be sure to keep an eye out for it!
  20. I was thinking about it and it must of happened inbetween taking the car for a test drive and picking it up the following week. I know the fans were working when i had the car for a test drive because i checked the A/C was working. So once i took it back to the garage, agreed a price and the garage owner said he would change the timing belt for me they must of taken the front bumper/radiator out or off and not reconnected it up after. Thats all i could think of anyway.
  21. Right so i think/hope i have worked it out now! Seeing a sit was sunny this evening i decided to have a look at the fan connections. So bonnet open, cant see much on the left so il look on the right. Out comes the coolant bottle trace the four wires from the fan to under th radiator and what do you know - its not plugged in! So plug it in better check the other side then. So out with the air intake duct and what do i see - this!!! Yes its a dodgy iphone picture but it is also the other fan disconnected. So plug it back in, take the car for a good drive but sadly i cant replicate driving in edinburgh so i turn on the A/C to get the fans spinning and on come the fans! Hopfully now the fans will come on next time im in some sort of traffic jam. I shall keep you all informed. Thanks to everyone who helped out too.
  22. So, how did it go today? Someone must be home by now!
  23. Ok, if the fans dont come after 10 to 15 mins tonight and the temp is around half il be back here looking for a solution, cheers for your help today fellas.
  24. care to join me Dale
  25. Hmmm, the only thing I have done with the bonnet open is check the oil and take the headlights out to de tango them. Is the connection around the headlight area do you know?
