hey tony
welcome to the forum, sorry took a while to reply , currently run a 03 wrx sti blobeye , great car great engine, some say the blob eyes had the best engines for tunning /increasing power as they had realy strong internals, especialy the later blobeyes that were wide track and had dccd control . some uprated stuff under teh chasis i beleive aswel .
as for ppp , theres no longer an option to get ppp as far as im aware as its the prodrive performance pack and prodrive dont realy have anything to do with subaru now. there is however a similar company called Pro R . these upgrades arent a must as its just a remap basicly and couple other parts for it , you can get better or similar performance upgrade probably for cheaper doing some slight changes to the car ,
a good thing you could look at is go to andy forrests web page here > http://www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk/ which can give you prices of some stage 1 2 and 3 mods , and the rough performance increases you should get . and hes also regarded as the best mapper in the uk and holds world record in his own car that he runs . many people drive from all over to have their car mapped by him . but even if your not getting mapped by him a look on his website should give you an idea.
sorry i cant help any more im not realy the mechanicly minded type but hope that info helps .
oh and again welcome to the forum !!!!!! -

It would appear so
Cool cheers don. NEver knew that . As thats what i was after when i first posted up that other thread regarding legal cover. So since then always just took the legal cover part as just cover at shows events etc.
-
Different insurance cover completely.................
So theres 2 legal covers don?
-A holmes and hill one thats like your car insurance legal Cover for legal advice /representation etc
And
-the msa affiliated Legal cover for club shows etc as mentioned in the link ?
-
-
Where does it say that?
When I asked on Scooby net the other year, I was told that being a sidc member I got free legal cover, so why pay twice.
Maybe someone from Holmes and hills can clear it up for us?
Think i had posted it in membership section
-
it's a no brainer
£20 membership = free legal cover with Holmes & Hills for you and your family.
http://www.holmes-hills.co.uk/
add legal cover to your insurance = £30+
we have three cars in our house hold + the cars I'm named driver on at Mum/Dads + the two family business vans. I'm over £200 saved already
As far as im aware. The legal cover doesnt cover you for nowt unless your at a show/ event and sumthin happens like an injury to a kiddy or person.
Compared to legal cover you would get with insurance should you have an accident or something happen on the public road.
Correct me if im wrong anyway. Just going by what i got told when i enquired about the legal cover last year that came with membership

Nice looking classic lad . Welcome along too
-
Wld say so . Looks like an altered picture of a bugeye but says its year is 2006/07 which wld make it a hawk
-
Nice lookin hawk.. personaly. I wldnt go for the hatch wrx. Id rather put the cash towards a good condition low mileage if possible ,Hawk, blob or bug.
only a couple sti hatch's. That ive that i like and someones heavily modded wrx hatch. But thats just my personal taste. If you like it then go for it. Never driven one so dont know what their like to drive
-
Why not buy a sti blob and just put a hawk front end on it.. heard of a few people doing that and then they put the wee spoiler thing on the top rear window too
-
Welcome back dabiscuit. Didnt think the wrx had a 6speed. Could be wrong tho.
As for that there is the odd sti out there for 6k but. Just depends on how old and how many miles. Saw a cpl blobs around 6k. With about 70k on clock

Good luck ronan

Good idea Al, that was a cracking day out - had a BBQ in the car park where the Police had a quiet word with us Paul, good turnout and there and back in a day. Food for thought indeed.....
Id be up for a meet/bbq at that place. Roads up there are great. Was that the one i think kenny organised last year was it ?
