  1. if the car was running fine before you changed them i would put them back in as the old saying goes if it aint broke then why fix it

  11. i,am on the case was thinking crail but looking into other venues if anyone has any ideas i,ll be contacting straightliner,s and see if they would be willing to do the timing gear for us if not then i,ll look at other thing,s if anyone is up for this can you put your name down that way i can get number,s cheers

  13. it would be great if the club could organise a annual event for this at crail we seem to do plenty of days by ourselfs but would be good if the sidc club got more involved and made a big thing of it and the pricing wouldn,t cost anymore than a standard day at crail any thoughts on this guys just an idea

  20. depends on your power goal and year of car really. Top mount For: Very little lag between gear changes. Against: Prone to heat soak from engine bay making them less efficient, especially on high boost/power cars. Front mount For: Not prone to heat soak and far more efficient due to higher surface area. The safest option on high boost/power cars. Against: Increased lag between gear changes.
