  1. My son-in-law wants to get two tyres fitted to his VX220, (they came off my STi) he has been quoted £16 per wheel to fit them, is there someplace around Aberdeen that will do this at a more reasonable price ?
  2. Can stickers still be ordered ? If so I would like a couple and will post off the form. CT
  3. My kit car is for sale to free up garage space and funds for a new project. It is very yellow and loud, there are pictures on Pistonheads.com http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/detail.asp?i=30523&s=130 http://www.pistonheads.com/classifiedpics/30523-2.jpg It has a 2llitre Pinto engine, stage 3 tuned by Tiger, 148BHP rolling road tested, twin 45s, etc. I raced it three times, once at Fintry where it finished last of five against some stiff competition and my driving, but had two thirds in class at Golspie and Alford with five and six in class at these events. It is taxed to March and MOTed to Feb. I am asking £5000 but am open to close offers. CT
  4. Era The arrangement for picking up the meter will have to be changed, the guy I know who works for BJ is away all week. I can leave it at your work reception and you can post me the money, send me a PM with details of exactly where you work and I will leave the meter there on Wednesday, I am in Norway until then. CT
  5. The meters can be bought from this site http://www.saxforte.com/data/gtechpro/gtec...gtech_home.html Be aware though that VAT will be charged when it arrives in this country. CT
  6. ERA I touch goats. CT
  7. Avalanche I touch goats. CT
  8. I live in Stonehaven, work in Aberdeen. I bought two because I was offered a good deal on them and the postage for two was the same as one, I was just going to sell one and keep one but things have changed and I don't need one now. BTW I am not making any money on them at that price.
  9. I have two GTechPro performance meters brand new still in the box that are surplus to requirements. Measures 0-60, 60-0, horsepower and g-forces, and for all I know can possibly wake you up with a cup of tea in the morning (i don't really think they can do that) Anyway is anyone interested at £55 each ? Here is what the makers say they can do. G-TECH/Pro takes advantage of many different measurements that can be gathered from acceleration over time. For Horsepower measurement the user has to input the weight of the vehicle. We utilize what we call "Intuitive User Interface". To input weight all you have to do is simply tilt G-TECH/Pro up and the numbers will increase and if you tilt it down the numbers will decrease. Further you tilt it faster the numbers change. In Horsepower mode G-TECH/Pro will display currently delivered horsepower during acceleration and then when you slow down it will display maximum delivered horsepower. All the measurements are performed automatically. All you have to do is push the button indicating to G-TECH/Pro that you are ready and then G-TECH/Pro will zero-out and display -GO-. Then simply start accelerating. G-TECH/Pro will know your speed and distance at any given moment and stop the measurement at 60 mph or 1/4 mile point. While measuring Lateral or Longitudinal G's user has the choice of Instantaneous or Continuous mode. Instantaneous G's are great for analyzing when tires lost traction during braking and cornering or measuring any other kind of G-load. Continuous G's are designed for standard skid pad handling measurements of Lateral G's. When measuring Braking distance in feet user doesn't have to start braking exactly at 60 mph. G-TECH/Pro knows the speed always and it will only measure distance from 60-0 mph even if you started braking at 65 mph for example.
  10. Cheers John I can see me getting very wet driving the Tiger to Alford on Sunday if I don't get a trailer.
  11. Jools Regarding this message you posted earlier, did you contact your mate,if not can you give me his number and I will call him, I am still looking to buy one but have run out of time for Alford on Sunday. The alternative is to drive the car there, but that could be wet ! CT; £70 I can get you a car trailer for 20/25 quid for the weekend. Will call my mate today; lives over by Loch Skene out the back of Westhill on the Abz to Alford road. A few folk use his trailer for the very same reason, so sometimes it is booked out in advance.Text Cheers CT
  12. My daughter took some photos, probably just of me and her husband (Ali) but I will ask her to send me some and get them posted. CT
  13. Well done all involved, particularly Gavin, Russ, Neil and Jools, and of course Carl for compiling and posting the results Great set up and all in all a very interesting day. At least when I sell the wee car I can say with some confidence just what the car produces - other than big smiles ! Cheers Guys
  14. Cheers guys ! £25 sounds better than the £70 I paid last time, though it was worth every penny. I am still hoping to buy one, I went to see a pile of crap yesterday that was being offered for £750, I am still looking ! After seeing that one the price of new trailers is looking better. CT
  15. Cheers, I hired one in Aberdeen last weekend for a similar price but would like to get my own, it would make life easier. CT
  16. I am looking for a trailer to move my kit car about (Westfield type car) preferably in the Aberdeen area but really I would travel anywhere in Scotland to get it. A loan of a trailer for the sprint at Alford on 3rd Oct would be good if anyone has one they could lend me, assuming i do not find one to buy before then. If you have a trailer you are selling or know someone who might sell their's I would appreciate it. Ta CT
  17. Do we know when this event is going to happen ? I am up for it, either MY02 STi or Tiger Supercat - like Numptie the weather will decide which.
  18. I would be up for either option 1 or 2, with option 1 being the preference. Myself and the young fellah, and if there are places needing filled I could rope in son-in-law as a minimum. CT
  19. Great day ! Again ! Many thanks to the organisers, I took several different passengers out and they all seemed to enjoy the experience, two came out with me again so it couldn't have been too bad. Not wanting to be negative but am not sure that the passing both sides is a great idea, we have a good safety record with the 'old' pass on the left system and I was involved in two potential incidents with the 'new' system. However nothing bad happened so maybe I am just being over critical. Anyway, thanks again to all involved. Murray
  20. Aye and around £5.5K for a road car, which is where my interest lies. The standard engine is Fireblade, but he said he would fit whatever anyone wants, there would be an increase for Blackbird/Hyabusa but what fun !
  21. I have been talking with RSC Motorsport about their locost 7 type car, Trevor from RSC is going to bring a car to KH on Sat, he does not know yet how complete it will be but he will bring it at whatever stage he gets it to. He will be happy to answer any question about the car - BTW he is looking to sell them for around £4.5K in race trim !!!!!!!! This is not a sales pitch, I have no connection with RSC other than I want to see one of their cars myself.
