  1. I know how you feel, i spent nearly 2 months without mine as it was having the engine rebuilt. The day you get it back, you wont be able to stop grinning!!
  2. Oh yes!! Gotta have some old skool fords in there somewhere
  3. I think mine would have to be a Classic Mini Turbo (already got this), Litchfield type 25, RS 200, Escort Cosworth, Escort Mk2 RS2000, Sierra RS 500, Roush Mustang, Dodge SRT Pick up, Merc SLR (722 edition) and Pagani Zonda Roadster Right well thats done, all I need to do is win the lottery
  4. Is anyone else conserned about the amount of money this goverment had borrowed?? At the end of the day, its honest working people like us that will suffer because of them. The budgets for maintaining the roads will soon be non existant, by the look of the roads around my way its already started!!
  5. Just wondering. I keep seeing you buzzin maidstone, wasnt sure if it was carbon or just painted black
  6. It was done by API in Warwickshire. They done a fantastic job and would recomend them to anyone
  7. Looks good!! Do you have a carbon spoiler aswell??
  8. Not too sure on the fitting price, as mine was fitted when my engine was being rebuilt. My flywheel was knackered, so had a skimmed & lightened one fitted at the same time Also just spotted where your from, I think they are quite close to you Sorry i couldnt be more help
  9. Ive got this on mine http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-IMPREZA-TURBO...=item2a04809218 (Another Ebay find) Its currently holding over 300bhp, also was delivered next day Hope this helps
  10. Hi, ive just brought this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Slam-Cooling-Panel-S...=item5ad5583525 It fits really well Seen the scoobyworld one to a friends car and didn't like how it fitted
  11. I check out this http://bbs.scoobynet.com/drivetrain-11/788...fouronline.html Not really a good idea
  12. Have you tried these?? http://www.crnperformance.co.uk/store/index.php/
  13. It a little way, but Mocom Racing in Harlow. Also they are the cheapest i've found for whiteline products
  14. I think its one of these things that you have to trust your gut, this is easier with standard vehicle. The inlet manifold always used to be a good indication of an thrashed engine but with age of the cars its not always the best way to tell, just do the normal things. Listening for piston slap and knocking cams when cold. Also watch out for clutch judder (hot or cold) and noisy gearboxes, always a sign of a hard life It took me ages to find my car. I drove loads of abused and high mileage cars so when I found a good one it stood out a mile
  15. Try this http://www.scoobyparts.co.uk/acatalog/HKS_..._-_CLASSIC.html Its fits well (as normal with all HKS products) and sounds great, loud without being over loud
  16. I'll second that!! API are the the final stages of rebuilding my engine after my head gasket problems and a friend of mine (si2000) has just had 2.1 forged build done by them, both of us are pleased with the service and professionalism. Drop David an email at dob@apiengines.com , describe the problem and see if he can think of any other causes Also visit their web site http://www.apiengines.com/index.php Hope this helps
  17. Have you had a look at the over flow tank on the passengers side wing? Also when the car has been driven and up to temperature is there alot of pressure in the top hose? Does then problem get worse when driven hard? I had a similar problem, I could start my car from cold and leave it to warm up without driving it and it would be fine but as soon as I drove it, it would pressurise the coolant system to the extent that it would open the thermostat and start pumping coolant into the overflow tank. After having a sniffer test and pressure test it turned out my problem was a blown head gasket caused by the wrong mix of anti freeze eating though the metal head gasket My advice would be to get a sniffer test carried out so you can get more of an idea
  18. Hi, sorry to hear about your engine. Ive just had my engine rebuilt by API engines. Its not the cheapest way of doing things but highly recomended if you wanna keep the car for a while. They can do anything from standard to wild, for more info visit http://www.apiengines.com/index.php or email david at dob@apiengines.com or for a cheaper alternative you could try http://www.japperformanceparts.co.uk/ based in Crawley Hope this helps James
  19. Yea I know what you are saying but most english winters are just very wet. I think they would be a good all round choice as reasonable grip levels in wet or dry conditions, so they should be ideal if you only have one set of wheels
  20. Uniroyal Rainsport 2's get my vote. Great in the wet and give good grip in the dry, also you dont get too much road noise
  21. couldn't have put it better my self, ive had a similar coversation with a friend (also a scooby driver), he couldn't see what i was on about
  22. I've always used Silkolene Pro R 15w-50, as recomended by Opie Oils. Also call be stupid but I always use genuine subaru oil filters
