About noris

  1. I know how you feel, i spent nearly 2 months without mine as it was having the engine rebuilt. The day you get it back, you wont be able to stop grinning!!
  2. Oh yes!! Gotta have some old skool fords in there somewhere
  3. I think mine would have to be a Classic Mini Turbo (already got this), Litchfield type 25, RS 200, Escort Cosworth, Escort Mk2 RS2000, Sierra RS 500, Roush Mustang, Dodge SRT Pick up, Merc SLR (722 edition) and Pagani Zonda Roadster Right well thats done, all I need to do is win the lottery
  4. Just wondering. I keep seeing you buzzin maidstone, wasnt sure if it was carbon or just painted black
  5. It was done by API in Warwickshire. They done a fantastic job and would recomend them to anyone
  6. Looks good!! Do you have a carbon spoiler aswell??
  7. Not too sure on the fitting price, as mine was fitted when my engine was being rebuilt. My flywheel was knackered, so had a skimmed & lightened one fitted at the same time Also just spotted where your from, I think they are quite close to you Sorry i couldnt be more help
  8. Ive got this on mine http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-IMPREZA-TURBO...=item2a04809218 (Another Ebay find) Its currently holding over 300bhp, also was delivered next day Hope this helps
  9. I check out this http://bbs.scoobynet.com/drivetrain-11/788...fouronline.html Not really a good idea
  10. Have you tried these?? http://www.crnperformance.co.uk/store/index.php/
  11. It a little way, but Mocom Racing in Harlow. Also they are the cheapest i've found for whiteline products
  12. I think its one of these things that you have to trust your gut, this is easier with standard vehicle. The inlet manifold always used to be a good indication of an thrashed engine but with age of the cars its not always the best way to tell, just do the normal things. Listening for piston slap and knocking cams when cold. Also watch out for clutch judder (hot or cold) and noisy gearboxes, always a sign of a hard life It took me ages to find my car. I drove loads of abused and high mileage cars so when I found a good one it stood out a mile
  13. Yea I know what you are saying but most english winters are just very wet. I think they would be a good all round choice as reasonable grip levels in wet or dry conditions, so they should be ideal if you only have one set of wheels
  14. Uniroyal Rainsport 2's get my vote. Great in the wet and give good grip in the dry, also you dont get too much road noise
  15. couldn't have put it better my self, ive had a similar coversation with a friend (also a scooby driver), he couldn't see what i was on about
