I don't know how much research you have done on the p1 but beware the one at 27k miles if its running its original engine. They are notoriously bad for going pop and needing a bottom end replacement. Mine had an engine replacement and a gear box change under warranty ... apparently the gear boxes were fairly delicate on all of them. None the less that car was the BEST car i have ever owned - good choice! i would swap my RB for another one (and some change ) if i didn't require something practical

Actually i'm not so bad with a grinder, i've chopped many a roof skin off a Nova in my days! ... i might need assistance with the welding it back together though , im rubbish at welding .... I'm always right

They scratch paintwork i used it once on my corsa VXR (first car i have ever had from brand new in Aug last year, i cleaned it once in a fit of over excitement)

In the interest of aiding your cleaning skills knowledge, i can offer you, as selfless as i am..... one VERY VERY dirty car to clean if you need additional paintwork to practice on! I shall even make the effort to make it to your sunday meet ( i may still be in fancy dress i warn you) ... any takers? i can't see out of my windscreen just now ??

Ooh got a quote they want 10% of the cars value in excess! and then a hell of a lot more than £60 for a day ( someone must have told them about my driving), can't really afford to do that sadly. Will have to see if i can get a track day where they provide the car! hey ho, im still going to do it, it looks wicked fun!!

Can i just offer a small word of warning about doing this on roundabouts..... i ended up facing the wrong way in the damp on a round about doing just that not too long ago! When i bought mine the dealer said the best thing is to play with it on a relatively straight fast road you know before you fanny about with anything more exciting. Possibly my little incident is more due to my driving skills which are a work in progress but none the less... beware!

Mine was £430 for the year fully comp. with Admiral for my RB320 I too am only just turned 25 and have only 2 yrs no claims so they might be worth a try?
