  1. Nice What colour?? You at Trax tomorrow? Ben
  2. good news your not hanging around then Just a straight rebuild or are any parts being beefed up or replaced?? Ben
  3. Hey chaps manny_09sti, Are you coming to the hatch meet?? What's your scoobynet user name?? Are you on the list? Bobba13, Hi, yeh, Norman and I both have 330S's in dark grey. I just looked on autotrader, as I'm sure you have, but thought I'd mention anyway they seem to be going for around £27k with a couple of thousand miles on. I nearly bought an ex-demo, but for 1K more I got a new one that hasn't had the crap kicked out of it from new. I got mine 4 months ago and paid 28K total with a 53WRX as a part exchange, just so you have some more info! I have no idea how much the one your looking at is, but just wanted to let you know so you don't pay over the odds. I bet you could still quite easily bend the arm of a dealer to get a new one for 28K or less as the economic situation hasn't really changed. Just might be worth investigating if your looking at spending 27k on an ex-demo. Obviously the garage with the one your looking at wont be so interested as they'll want to shift that one, but if you have any other dealers near you it may be worth a trip/chat. That is of course if you don't mind paying more for a brand spanker and if that matters to you or not - each to their own I have found the hatch to be super economic on roads, be they A or B, where you can cruise at around 50-60mph in intelligent mode. The other day I did 45miles down some single carrigeway A road and onto the M25 for a bit. I got 35mpg average with V-Max in the tank (it was at 36mpg till i hit the M25). But then I spanked it all the way home as a reward for doing so well My combined average is 22mpg, but I only drive 3miles to work through town and that just kills it with 18mpg. Plus mine is always in sport sharp mode as my exhaust pops and crackles more So I think it can be pretty good, its just if you can be good or not Servicing is no different to any other scoob. I absolutely love mine and don't regret it at all!!!! Its the best waste of my money yet Every time I drive it I love it, especially as i am now biking to work so dont use it so much during the week. Then I did some suspension mods with some Whiteline bits and a steering re-valve from Litchfields. Wow it a different car. The handling is awsome and I've never felt power like it - it has such a kick to it when accelerating hard You would be looking at about £1k for Litcho to do all the work I have done on mine. The equivalent of their handling pack plus I have Prodrive springs. Here is a link to the Scoobynet thread Hatch thread HTH Ben
  4. I actually drove my 330s in "Intelligent" mode down some A roads and around the M25 for a bit the other day. I was quite surprised when I saw 35mpg average on a 45mile trip. Mine has done 2.2k miles now and seems to freeing up. Also just gave it an oil change and some Motul V300 and a tank of V-power Obviously as I had saved fuel, and the planet, on the way there I planted my foot on the way home and ripped the atmosphere apart behind me Ben
  5. Here are two I took that are ok-ish Your pics look really good Stu, nice one Ben
  6. Very much so, it eats motorways Around 3k rpm for about 80mph in 6th I think. It soaks up bumps on motorways and B roads so well. Like others said, keep £1k spare for some Whitline bits and a steering re-valve and it will be the best scoob you've driven I think its kinda obvious I like my 330s Good luck, thats an awesome list to chose from Ben
  7. Nice one Stu, that was a good turn out!! Good to see and convoy all the scoobs together Looking forward to the pics Ben
  8. Well she's all cleaned up now washed and detailed, now read to be covered in a million bugs down the A34
  9. Ha ha, I thought it was the pear tree park n ride we were meeting at but I see now its the botley one So I guess we'll be at peartree at 4:10pm, but I'm not sure where the shell is at peartree?? I didnt know there was one? Do you mean the shell near the kidlington turn off on the A34? Ben
  10. Hey I didn't think I was going to be able to make this one, but its looking like I could. Would it be too late for a last minute entry?? Looks like it will be a good meet, let alone a photo shoot Chris If I can come do you want to convoy over to pear tree? Cheers Ben
  11. Oh bummer, I have two small dents in mine already, again you can't see them until you know where they are, but sadly.... I do I think you commented on some Rotas? in the hatch thread, black on a silver car, quite liked them but sound expensive. I don't really have any in mind, I've not been looking really, if I do it may lead to more purchases It'll be good to see some different wheels on cars at the hatch meet, shame you'll be away for that one Have you any in mind? Ben
  12. Sorry out for lunch that day, its the GFs mothers 60th. I'm going to the Scoobynet "hatch" meet at Litchfields on the 5th sept I'm sure anyone could come along to that if interested Any news on a mini meet this month?? Cheers Ben
  13. Hey mate, Really when was that?? Was it in reference to these photos? I only posted them here. Anyway - no they're not painted I just retouched these photos a lot so you could make out the wheel arch better as they were a bit dark and hard to see No I wouldn't waste any time or money on these, I picked one up while they were off the car at Litcho, my god they weigh a ton!! They will be the next thing to be up graded, but will have to wait a while as I have a feeling the replacements will be mucho £££ Yours still ok? I saw your post saying you had a scratch - ment to post but got way laid Cheers Ben
