Tried to get the adaptors/reducers for the ball joints to fit into the whishbones but when i phoned auto eccosse they said i have to buy the whole wishbone to get that part!!! aaargh!!! Does anyone know were i can get a set of the reducers/adaptors???? HELP!!! Jase

Well i got my Alloy wishbones but they were not looking very nice so i got buffing, the pic below shows one of them buffed up and one of them not.... Then here's a pic of the finished artical Also to go along with the wishbones i got the Whiteline centre roll kit And finally here's the pre-production set of the Bc camber/caster top mounts So plenty of stuff to get fitted then off to Graeme @ Whiteline for the setup.......roll on the good times P.S Cheers to Jcscoob for letting me use his shed to buff in

Got told by Graeme from whiteline that its a good mod to do.....it improves handling due to the weight difference.....improves rebound or something, not completely sure!! But hes setting my car up and im taking his advice as he is a Guru I have both alloy arms ready to go on but need the sleeve/reducers for the ball joints Jase

I just spent a fortune getting the bumper all sprayed up nice about 2 months ago!!! so not really an opportunity lol

Girlfriend drove in to park the car.....slid on ice and hit the neighbours BMW Not loads of damage....his car will need the rear bumper re-sprayed..........dont want to loose my no claims so will just have to pay it My car.....looks like it will need bumber re-sprayed, front light, side light, front grill, not sure if any damage behind the bumper so will check when im back!! it doesnt look to bad but im sure it will add up So now going to be hunting for a run about car for the girlfriend to lessen the chances of things like this...piss*d off springs to mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have got myself a set of alloy wishbones and whiteline Roll-centre / bump-steer adjust kit which has the uprated ball joints.........so when checking the installation procedure "This is the PDF doc" It says the following Note: On vehicles equipped with alloy control arms, ensure that the original steel tapered insert/reducer is removed off the original ball-joint and re-used with Whiteline ball-joint. Refer to photos 2 and 3. As i am going from steel wishbones to alloy ones.....will my current ball joints have the insert/reducer or do i need to buy it??? I will need to know this before fitting as dont want to have wishbones all off etc then realise i cant fit the ball joints!!! Cheers for the help in advance

Well after all the trouble getting the car setup, Bc are sending me new top mounts for adjusting Camber and Castor plus adaptors for the camber bolts.....they will be released in 2010 as a brand new product but i am getting a pre-production set from them for my troubles I must say Graeme has been a great help and Kev at Bc has also been really good!! Happy days So fit the new alloy wishbones and Whiteline front roll centre adjustment kit....might even be getting the rear toe adjust kit also....then back up to Graeme @ Whiteline to get it all setup again.......cant wait!!!!
