No probs, forgot to add, personally I prefer the silver ones, but either way the 6 spokes look better that the current ones I think.

Dammit, I'm in Barnsley. Always fancied replacing my round with an oval. -

Yes, definitely. Bigger exhausts me thinks, I would prefer single ovals at each side, big ones, then the valance shaped to be tighter round them. Again, spot on with that one. I also think it needs massive spot lights from the classic era. With all the above 'issues' it just doesn't have the road presence of a standard Impreza, let alone an STI! Just looks like another 4-door family car. The huge bonnet vent is just not enough on its own, the vent reminds me very much of an old Kia people-mover (I think it was a Kia, or similar). It doesn't look aggressive enough, it doesn't stand out, it just doesn't move me like the Classic or the Hawkeye does. Paul -
Winter Tyres - Who Will Be Running Them?
paulcoleman replied to wrxmania's topic in Scottish Scoobies
I was hoping to be running winter tyres this year, but I initially had issues finding a set of spare 15" alloys. Then some sets finally came up and I had run into cash flow issues by then. Still hoping I can pick some up, but to be honest even though it was a little hairy at times the scoob is the best car I've had in the snow even with 17's on. Do-able, but I would feel better with winter tyres on! Paul -
I just ordered some from Performance Oils for £30 delivered, and fitted them to my Classic last week, they sound mint. I went for the lower 400/500hz pack, which ones you gone for. They are the dogs compared to the standard scooby ones! Enjoy. Paul

Sorry to hijack, but does anyone know the gaps for a '00 classic, non turbo model. It's the only thing I haven't checked yet since I bought it. Cheers Paul

Anyone know if this can be applied to the classic shocks, as one of mine is grinding and I was about to replace it (well the pair). Can the classic shocks be dismantled in the same way? If so I'll have a go and post results. Paul

I've had a long but un-eventful motoring history until now! D plate Mazda 323 1.3L, written off after 3 months by hitting a police car!!! A plate Fiat Uno 1.1, run into the ground then chopped up and scrapped C plate Fiat Uno 1.1 H plate Ford Escort Eclipse 1.3, mint looking car in metallic blue with factory fitted RS boot spoiler. They were the last of the old style engines so were kitted out with wide wheels, body coloured bumpers and mirrors, and the boot spoiler. M plate Peugeot 306 1.6, great little runner but biscuit brown interior!!! R plate Peugeot 306 1.9TD, hateful car, never licked it for many reasons. The engine was $hit and the brakes were not big enough for the weight of the diesel engine. Was so glad to see the back of it And finally the last car before the Scoob was this bad boy, Mondeo 2L Zetec. Absolutely loved it to bits, was very rapid for its size and the engine was running perfect, its acceleration always surprised everyone who got a lift. Paid £600 for it and had it 3 years. Loved it so much I was going to get a Mk3 2L TDCI before finding the Impreza. Don't think I could go back to FWD now!!!

The second is behind the grille, in between the grille and the rad on same side as battery, on my classic anyway. HTH

Nice job! Begs the question though, why make them bloody orange in the first place? Must get round to sorting mine out.

For the OP I'd go with Yellow or White, in that order of preference.

I thought I had, but seems to have dried up at the moment and most of the eBay ones don't have the connector included
