  1. hi mate. they are my local garage, and from what i have seen in the past they can be a bit hit and miss i went to look at a scooby a year or so ago, and the advert said it was mint and in excellent condition, and it wasnt, was in a bad way tbh. drove past the other night and looked at a couple of scoobs and integra type r's and they all looked nice, but couldnt tell properly as it was dark (was lit up by street light and the forecourt lights etc) are you local?
  2. thanks for the reply guys. found this on autotrader, and got an "ok" quote from greenlight of £1200 (which is a lot cheaper than i thought it would be) http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/adv.../1501?logcode=p seems to be a bit of a beast if all things are correct
  3. The older shape mate, the ep3. But ideally the facelift version (so 2004 onwards) and if I'm lucky a premier edition. I know they are complely different cars with how the power is delivered etc and how they drive, but they are both the cars I really want at the mo.
  4. hi all, have been toying with the idea of getting either a scooby or a civic type r for some time now (i know completely different cars), but just need some advice on the scooby side. my old man has a 2000 uk turbo classic, which i would like as well, but they seem to be few and far between for a good one, so have started looking at the hawk eye models. it appears you can get a lot of scooby for reasonable money, for example this one http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/adv...age/1?logcode=p would anyone say that is worth the money or not? i have no idea how much they are worth at the min and which trims are worth what (sti, wrx, ppp, type r etc) as there appear to be many many different levels suppose all i am asking is, is that model i have linked to worth the money they are asking for, just so i have something to go on in the future? thanks in advance dan
  5. Hi guys, how are we all? first time i have posted on here for some time anyway, i have recently been looking for a new car (have a 206 at the mo) as i am doing less miles for work, so fancy something sportier/quicker, and have narrowed it down to a Honda Civic Type R (facelift EP3 version not the new style) or a Impreza (both completely different cars i know, but love them both) it really will come down to the one i find first that i like (have seen a couple of ropey civics and scoobs) anyway, found this example of a WRX STI PPP down near brighton that im thinking of going to see. question is, do you guys and girls think its a good price for the model/year etc http://www.churchsperformancecars.co.uk/de...sp?StockID=1199 look forward to hearing your opinions Dan
  6. hi guys, thanks for the responses! here is the website http://www.svaimports.com/details.php?ID=295 the place has been up and running for quite some time, so should have some credibility! let me know if you think its a bag of spanners tho and i will stay clear
  7. hi guys and girls, how are we all? new here and thought i would say hello! currently drive a pug, but am looking at getting a scoob in the near future as my travel to work has been cut down immensly miles wise, so i can afford to run one, lol! what i want to know is can anyone give me a rough guideline price for the following car? have seen it in a local dealer, and the price looks good, but as its an import i cant really find anything about how much it should be worth, so i thought i would ask the experts. heres the details Subaru Impreza WRX STi Type R This extreamly rare Sonis blue 555 ltd type R Impreza STi version 3 is in excellent condition through out 1997 model P Reg 70000 Kms Sonic blue with gold Speedline alloys Limmo tint glass limited edition 555 Sports trim STi performance exhaust system Carbon strut brace Zero sports air intake Air con Cd player 12 months parts& labour warranty A stunning car in fantastic condition £5995 so yeah, it looks like a nice enough car etc, but i really dont know if they are trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes, or if this is infact a good price! any advice/help welcommed dan
