About big j

  1. How do you think I feel? Every time he passes my house, He opens it up just to say hello .. It ceratinly gets your attention He just did it again
  2. Knock sensor is buried down deep in front of the intercooler if memory serves correctly & is a biatch to get back on clean again. I'd suggest giving the area a good clean before removing it J
  3. I'm looking forward to another incident in the near future. Something similar to the Aircraft carrier accient that Black Stig had a few years ago. All good clean fun. J
  4. The weight isn't the imporatnt factor, It's an aerodynamic thing ..Less drag on the headlights J
  5. Fjorking tw@ts, Plod should contact youtube to get the IP the vids were posted from .. They were probably stupid enough to post it from home. Plod chaps their door or watch where they go. If they can't do that what chance is there? J
  6. Top notch Barry! I will be back out to play soon J
  7. Congrats m8 I suppose it is only a matter of time before that little white hat is swapped for a nice blue Subaru one
  8. Came across THESE whilst trawling the interweb. May be helpful to somebody J
  9. Thanks guys
  10. Fitting them should be easy enough Cathy. You can always call the 60 minute makeover team if you get stuck J
  11. At the risk of posting in the wrong section again..... This is probably a silly question, But does anybody round about Lanark area have any cam sensors for a classic lying about that I could borrow / buy. Cars been running like a dog, Tried all the usual checks, No stored error codes, Given it a good service with oil flush treatment, compression test, replaced 2 damaged coil packs etc etc. It seems to be missing on all cylinders randomly! Spoken to a few guys from the rally scene & they suggested the cam sensors. Just a bit expensive at £150 a pop to "try" It was doing it only when hot & Baz suggested head gasket (or worse) But I have disconnected the coil packs one at a time when running and can not pin it down to any one cylinder or even side, totally random & very annoying. John
  12. I still think it's a problem with your alarm m8
  13. There is always "The Squint Eye" If you squint your eyes at it, It almost looks OK ) J
  14. Hold on I'll check down the back of the sofa ... nope £2.37 & a few furry peanuts
  15. There's normally a plain wrapper or two hanging around on the Abington to Beatock stretch. Take care, They got me & I ended up banned for a month a few years back J
