Just replaced 1 of my main lights as it blew at the weekend, Now running Halfords Extreme bulbs (Xenon's with 90% more output) they're running a buy 1 get 1 free offer at the moment. sidelights now look very very dim so must order replacements now. Yep melted the plugs on my old Astra when running 120W blubs, mind you I was also running quad 150W Spots/driving lamps in a pod as well, Jeez it was bright when all on.

Just a word of warning peep's Be careful putting higher wattage bulbs in as they can cause issue with melting the wiring or as In my case melted the connector

Mmm must change mine, they look pants compared to the headlights. Although the headlights are pants compared to HID's Andy

I'm happy for it to move about a bit if all in favor ( I do travel 35m each way for Oxon meets after all) Discuss Sunday

Just a Thought If anybody has any 'Beers for the Boys' I can take them off your hands on Sunday & then get them across to Big D to add to the collection. I've 15 Cans that have been sitting about waiting since Xmas but I keep forgetting to hand them over so any additions would result in my remembering to deliver them. Andy

Indeed. I'm in Thatcham so Newbury's not an issue to me but yes I see the point of view for people having to travel. Maybe it's a case of putting together an event that give people a reason to travel, but not costing an earth to do once there (So Petrol is the only major cost). Methinks some headscratching for ideas needed here. Andy

Agree on the point about less people on the forums now, where's everyone gone ? I see an absolute ton of Scoobs in Berkshire/Oxon/Wilts in my travels so where's everyone hiding ? Have even splatted a few with leaflets around Newbury area but nobody seems to be forthcoming onto the forums let alone meets. Andy

Kylie was mentioing just such an idea at the December Berkshire meet.

Agree you need to give it a try as its what the majority voted for.

Iain, Maybe the meet should switch back to Sundays as those of us with families can bring the young 'uns along ( 6:30 start is a bit late for George) & maybe when the weathers as bit better doing some different activities again (Bowling etc...) You & Stu do a great job don't get disheartened, as you say you only get out of the club what you put in. Couple of points to note following a visit tonight 1) Early Bird prices end at 6:30pm & restaurant was heaving until then 2) Car Park was packed until about 7pm 3) Food as always was excellent Deceided our other car needed a good run to clear the cobwebs & charge the battery hence a 60mile round trip for dinner. Will need to leave by about 8:30 though Andy

You'll be more than welcome mate. Have only seen 1 gritter in West Berks since the snow began, strange though I saw 2 in Harringay this morning within 5 minutes of leaving the tube on the way to work, & there were even council workers clearing the pavements.
