  1. You can! The one that was here on the dyno day that was covered in our decals does that anyway! In the dry, 1st and 2nd were useless... In the wet, it was a deathwish!! but then again it does run on Toyo R888's and they're not exactly friendly for wet driving conditions.
  2. you dont know the half of it. so much power but no weight over the rear wheels means that it spends 99.9% of its time driving down the road sideways in a cloud of its own tyresmoke!
  3. Yes it is. We actually finished the second stage of the fuelling and the engine management at the weekend. Bloody thing pulls like a train now. 471bhp @ 1.0 bar & 534bhp @ 1.3 bar > all wheel figures! Scares the crap out of me...
  4. Just popped out to take these. They're not the best pics in the world - two reason's, crap camera (or it could be the photographer - hehe) and we had a brief shower earlier and our car park is pretty dusty. I think that the reflections on the bonnet are the best indecation of the overall finish.
  5. I gave my car the full works on Sunday. 9:00am start 4:30pm finish This included a G3 mop on any areas i didnt really like the look of, a total once over with the Meguirs clay bar kit, 3 coats of Autoglym HD wax and a good finishing solution. It looked amazing by the time i'd finished and the paint felt like glass.
  6. Brown / Beige cars rock! Reminds me of my old passat...
  7. I'll check my colour code when i get home.
  8. Yeah it's silver but not the normal base silver - its that silver with a goldy finish to it... I'd be interested in a swap if the colours were the same.
  9. I fancy getting rid of my bonnet scoop since i've now got a front mount intercooler and am thinking about putting the sport bonnet on. Anyone know of one going spare? Shaun
  10. HKS 2.2 Low compression stroker kit....
  11. Hi Adrian, If your turbo is maxed out then theres probably not alot more to come from your car peak power wise but i'm fairly certain that we could optimise the rest of the mapping. Can I ask why you think your turbo is maxed out? Unless you've been monitering your exhaust manifold back pressure of course.....
  12. My last tank of fuel was used 'conservatively'... Not once did i make boost, never went over 60mph and took my time getting there. Using Shell V-Power and costing £64 to fill up the tank, i managed to strangle 342 miles out of it. I was quite pleased until i did the same for my other car. Daihatsu Avanzato - 600cc turbo charged and 4WD (its like a mini scooby) Using Shell V-Power and costing 24.50 to fill up the tank, that managed 280 miles under the same driving conditions. The difference is amazing but i've never been so bored in all my life!
  13. No problem Dean - i'll also see about that Apexi information for you aswell.
  14. Hi, Sorry i didnt get back to you earlier today - the trouble with having a day off is that you only have to walk back into twice as much work! Give me call in the morning and i'll get that booking sorted for you. Cheers
  15. Putting the wheels back in the original order is something that is done deliberately. Sometimes you can get people with different offsets and widths from front to rear so we make sure it all goes back the way it came off. Since you've checked them over visually and nothing appears to be wrong, is there a chance that you've got a wheel bearing gone? It doesn't happen often but i have seen it on occasion... Failing that, perhaps a ball joint or something? Tell you what, if the visual checks are revealing nothing and all the obvious stuff appears to be in order, see if you can get the car back over to me at some point and i'll put it on our chassis allignment tool and do a geometry roll-out. If somethings wrong, it'll tell us straight away but more importantly, it'll possibley tell us where the issue is. I'll do this FOC.
  16. I bought the car about 3 weeks ago and its already got: HKS front mounted intercooler kit HKS induction system HKS SSQV dump valve HKS GT2835 turbo kit HKS EVC6 boost controller HKS Fcon V-Pro engine management Hayward & Scott turbo back exhaust system (soon to be changed for the HKS equivalent) 297.5bhp @ the wheels now... In two weeks time, i begin building the Toda Racing engine with Cosworth Heads. I snapped up the anti lift kit because i seriously need it!
  17. Hello Everyone, Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who came down for the dyno day. It was good to see you guys again and i think that the day went pretty well. 20withascooby - If you don't get a chance to investigate your vibration issue today then please call us on monday. I PM'd you earlier. Deano - I'm looking forward to chat regarding the future development of your car with regards to fuelling... Once again, thank you everyone! Shaun @ Torque Developments
