I had to cut my samco hose slightly in lenght to fit just right. Cant say i noticed any change in sound after fitting the hose though. You dont have to get the car mapped mateif youve only fitted an airbox hose..

I spent 4hrs this morning washing ,polishing& waxing then went for a run through the Galloway Forest and stopped off on route for a few pics.
