  9. As long as I knew why it had been done it wouldn't bother me. If you really wanted to splash out you could always get it covered too, the chap who did my windows reckoned it would be about £500 to clearshield protect it.

  14. Well done for stopping, a lot of people would have just driven by. When the other half put his through a hedge last weekend, someone stopped on the lane, laughed and then drove off. Luckily he wasn't trapped and someone else stopped to help. If we ever find out who it was who stopped and laughed ..............

Asked the other half about this a while back as we've got a field based team and i also found this link which was really helpful - http://www.rospa.com/RoadSafety/info/workmobiles.pdf Page 3 has the paragraph "Employers who require staff to use any mobile phone while driving for work could be prosecuted if an investigation determined that such use of the phone contributed to a crash. Claims in the civil courts could also result." Because of this we tell all of our employees to turn their phones off while in the car. We also get them to sign on their expenses every month that they understand we don't expect them to make or receive work telephone calls while driving etc etc Hope it helps!

  20. I'm having the same problems with both my mac and on xp so browser type doesn't make a difference.
  21. Tell me! We've not been this excited about something for ages!! Husband has even been and bought his own scoob so he can drive in the convoy too (and yes, i've got two stickers ) Have also roped in one of the girls from work to stand on the bridge J2M42 to take photo's of us all This is going to be one amazing event - thank you to all of the organisers for all of their hard work
