While washing my car today I noticed that the paint on the roof has started to blister, and rust is forming It's a 55 plate WRX, so my 3 year warranty ran out about a year ago. Does anyone know if there is a longer warranty on the paint? Surely this shouldn't happen on a 4 year old car...

Maybe where the new exhaust meets the old exhaust it hasn't been sealed properly? Once you hit 5000 rpm maybe the pressure in the exhaust is enough to force some gasses out where the leak is. Lie under the car and get someone to rev it, see of there's any air escaping. Might be an idea to use someone who's not accident prone for the revving

I had a similar problem a while back. Took me ages to track down the fault. The negative battery terminal was loose . One of the first things I did was check the positive terminal but for some reason I didn't check the negative terminal...

There are some rose bushes in my front garden which I wanted rid of. I started off with a garden fork, but after about 2 minutes I got bored. So I grabbed some rope and used the Scooby to rip them out the ground. Job done in about 15 mins . So what's the most unusual task you've used your Scooby for?

So is it actually dangerous to run with knocking shocks? Or just annoying? And has anyone used that Subaru garage in Paisley, the one behind the 'The Fire Station'? Maybe I should sue the council and get them to pay for the shocks. The problem has only developed since I moved to Paisley, and might be something to do with million speed humps I have to go over to and from work every day :@. I'd actually rather have a load of speed cameras to pass...

I've got a 55 plate WRX, and there's a knocking sound coming from the rear at low speed, which I'm pretty sure is the rear shocks. Which brings up the following questions : 1. How much should it cost to fix this? 2. Would an upgrade be a better idea? Cost? 3. How safe is the car currently with this knocking sound? Can I wait 3 weeks to get it fixed? 4. Can I just turn up the radio and drown out the noise?

There's a blob eye sti for sale at a garage in Paisley for just under £7000 I think. It's been on sale since at least August, so you might be able to get the price down. Just past the Asda at the Pheonix, the garage is at the railway bridge.

I bought Silverstreak off Amazon . Turning the car into a robot is easy. Getting the fecking thing back to a car is bloody impossible. Anyone seen a walkthrough on the net

1. Pug 206 1.1 60bhp. Stopped working after a few years, it would run fine for about half an hour and then die. Traded it in, didn't mention it was broken, good thing the dealer was less than 30 mins away. 2. Pug 206 Quiksilver 1.4 75bhp. Added the silver grill to the front, front splitters, shark fin rear spoiler, rear lexus lights. Never got around to changing the crappy alloys. Traded it in just before it's 3rd birthday, reverse lights stopped working so it woulda failed its mot. Again didn't mention it was broken... 3. Impreza GX Sport. Had it about a year before trading it in for current Scoob. Nothing wrong with this one when I traded it in . 4. My current Impreza

It came with loads of bits of plastic, that might be used to create a template, but I just ignored it and used the holes that were already there. If you wanted to use all of the holes, and didn't have a template, Mitchel had a good idea: Put toothpaste in the holes on the spoiler, line it up correctly on your boot lid, then drill where the toothpaste left a mark on the boot.

I got the spoiler from Scoobyworld, and I'm pretty sure it was the proper one. It had 16 holes for fitting, but I only used 4 of them so I wouldn't have to drill into my boot.

Yeh I had the standard low level spoiler, which is held on by 4 bolts. The new spoiler had holes in the same 4 places, so it's now held on by 4 bolts. No drilling required . Get someone to help you though, it's deffo a 2 man job. (unless you can juggle )

I got a new spoiler for my blob eye WRX today and I'm looking for some fitting advice. First of all, getting the old spoiler off. The bolts are recessed, so it looks like I'll need to get a box spanner? I've tried to measure the size of the bolts with a pair of scissors, and it looks like their 11mm. Does that sound right? Secondly, fitting the new spoiler. Anybody got any advice, or ran into any troubles doing it themselves? It seems simple enough... (famous last words) It's an STI spoiler btw. Thanks for any help

Can anyone recommend a good place to get my windows tinted? Mr Tint, near the Royal Infirmary looks quite cheap. Anyone ever used them? And any advice on what tint looks best? Should I get all the windows the same shade, or get the rear windows darker? Thanks
