STI97

In my opinion I would say that the speedo may be on the way out. It would explain why it varies with speed, even if it's not on the way out it would be the first thing I would check.

Thanks guys. I've had a look and the early and late 97 looms look very similar. Eurosti, you said that the loom changed in '97, what kind of differences should I be looking out for?

Hi, I am new to the forum and I was wondering if anyone can help. I am replacing a damaged wiring loom on a 1997 STI Classic with an EJ20 Turbo engine. I need to replace the wiring around the bulkheads, engine fusebox, headlights and radiator fans etc, along with the actual engine wiring (to the sensors, injectors etc) Will the wiring loom from a 1994 WRX be compatible?
