  6. Car arrived at the unit at around 11am and I got straight to work, The car was degreased with APC and then rinsed, front end was also treated with foaming bug remover stuff. Started with the wheels, cleaned inside and out then washed the car using the 2 bucket method. Car was dried with drying towel and Megs Last Touch All plastics, rubbers and grills were taped up with 3M blue tape and the car was ready for machine polishing Tried with Menzerna Final Finish but the scratches and swirls just laughed at this, so up'd it to Menernza Intensive Polish for a little more cut, which did the trick, then a final pass with Final Finish to add gloss and remove any remaining holograms. The paint was then wiped down using Z6 to remove polishing oils and coats of Gloss It Finish, Z6, Gloss It Concorso, Z6 and finally Z8 were applied. The wheels were polished with Z5 then a coat of JetSeal was applied for extra protection. Tyres were treated with Blackfire Tyre gel. Metal grills were polished with CG Metal Shine The car was finished at around 8pm. During pics All finished
  7. I've always used a rotary from day one but I tried the G220 but found it a bit to slow too use for paint correction (compared to rotary)....?? Tell me about it, I have a dangerously huge collection of products and would hate to count of the cost....must be well into the thousands lol
  8. Fantastic turn around!!!
  9. Grow up mate, simply got fed up with these stupid childish posts, wasn't directly aimed at you!!!!
  10. STOP SPAMMING MY POST WITH THIS KIND OF ****E THANK YOU
  11. The fins look awesome but unsure myself on the front bumper intakes though
  12. Pretty flexible just now bobby so this won't be a problem
  13. Where's the standard bonnet?
  14. Met the owner of this car at Hypertechs Horse Power Heroes event the other week, he asked how I keep my car so clean so I told him and ended up with the job of detailing this beast! No before or during pics, was flat out on this one......took a combined 21hours to finish Again PaulC555 supplied the 3M products used for the polishing stages on this
  15. No much point either on the STi model due to the aluminum bonnet being (in most causes) lighter than a replacement carbon fibre one
  16. Just not a fan . Its a bit mental and just doesn't seem right (White Scoob....... lowered, MO's and front lip FTW ) However I really like John's scoob and think he's nuts for wanting to sell it
  17. Been very busy, 5 cars this weekend, MX5, Audi A4, R34 GTR, Impreza and an S2000.....shattered!!
  18. The mini belongs to a friend, its had a fair bit of work done (body and interior) but engine is just a 1.3 Surprised you never asked about the reflection of the classic with the fmic lol
  19. Found blue tooth on my laptop lol This was only an external paint work detail and IMHO the pics really don't show how good the car looked in the flesh (Phone camera is rubbish) Before... During..... After..... Big Thanks to PaulC555 for the 3M cleaning products used on the scoob, really really good stuff!!
  20. As soon as I find my cable to connect my phone to the PC i'll get the pics up (Hopefully 2moro night) Big diff in the paint work, really pleased with the out come
  21. 2 done at the unit (mine and a blobeye), both 6 speeds and both times we took the engine out. Taking the engine out ain't that bad on the impreza's......thankfully lol As for the clutch, i can recommend the Helix Organic clutch, lasted well in my car (15,000 miles) and still not slipping even with the increased torque
  22. If you don't have a ramp, engine out is the easiest option
  23. Looking to use my HP Heroes raffle prize and was wondering what you guys would recommend Thanks in advance
  24. Their colour matching is spot on too mate, seen a lot of cars from their getting repair work and you'd never know that they'd been damaged in the first place. They are not cheap as I previously said but Garry is never happy until it's perfect. And yes its next to Muirhall Motors
