ONLY if it isnt a bloody Beetle!!! HELLO paul! welcome!
-
I put one on my fiesta 1.1 pop and got 375Bhp out of her! mind you it was the Wonder-bra version! Sorry im leaving now!
-
if its the same as My Nismo, they grip brilliantly in the dry! once you get used to it it will step out nicely and drift well. With a few upgrades they fly too!! You have to keep her humming to get the most out of it though. Wish i had a black one as mine only came in this sick Orange colour!!
-
Good choice mate! i owned a Nismo spec one in the states in 2005! Excellent cars!
-
that goat looks like it has the horn now!

Get yourself a TL1000 and ill give you the details of the race kit i have. 204Bhp which eats most bikes on the road!

there is an issue, and its not something that ALWAYS happens, but is more regular than you think, with ABS cars that when the fluid is pushed back through the ABS control unit under pressure it registers a fault and throws the ABS light up. Now this does not DAMAGE the ABS control unit just sets a fault. Its just a pain in the ass to turn the light off on some cars. Just speaking from years of experience!! By the way, when pushing the pistons back on NON ABS cars, dont go hell-for-leather with it, go slowly as too much pressure too fast CAN damage the primary piston seal in the master cylinder. Anyway, you got the car done mate, told you it was pretty easy!!! Looks nice too!!!

Yes thats what you should use. Spay it on the disc BOTH SIDES REMEMBER!!! and wipe off with a clean cloth. You can also use it to clean up the copper grease you put on the back of the pads. My MSN is hanger3@hotmail.co.uk if you need more help and im not on the site
-
Really mate!!! take your time you should be done in an hour. It really isnt a bad job, especially with the type of brakes you have. Make sure you use plenty of WD or break-free and buy a can of brake cleaner, make sure the new discs are REALLY clean as the crap they put on them to stop them rusting will get in the new pads and they will feel like **** for a week!!! Good luck!

Nope you have an RA so no ABS. dont need to worry about clamping. thats only if theres abs (i know guys who havent clamped with ABS and its been ok and i know one or two that had problems) SO: undo the master cyclinder cap under the bonnet, wrap loads of rags and tissue round it so that any spillage doesnt leak down the engine bay (keep an eye on it as you work) then while the calipers are still attached use a blunt instument to ease the old pads back with the pistons (trust me its easier like this) Then remove the caliper, change the disc (you will have to remove the hanger for the caliper too, i think its 19mm the two bolts) then refit new pads and attach the caliper. No bleeding necessary. Go pump the brake till its working again and go do the other side.
-
Should have no problems at all. Edited to say, just do one side at a time, clamp the hose just before the caliper (as close as poss to the caliper itself) and undo the bleed nipple to push the pistons back, i have known the ABS light to get upset if you dont. Then change the discs, and put the new pads in, reattach the caliper, make sure the bleed nipple is tight and go pump the brakes. If all ok, go round and do the other side Hope this helps!

Exactly!!!! there never was a classic UK300 As for the GB270 i have heard of those being called UK270's and maybe thats where people get confused. I think there is a difference between the GB and UK spec cars. Someone confirm this? (i also didnt know there were saloons!!)
-
Really dont think there were ANY classics that were UK300 spec. only Newage. Also some UK270 wagons too. again only Newage. Person i bought my 98uk spec from claimed it to be a UK300. I smiled sweetly and told him in that case its not worth much then!!! Got the car for £3100 in immac cond. and 62k on the clock! and it was unmolested! (UNTIL I GOT IT!!)
-
What a heap of
-
Yeah i know that but if you look at my list of cars ive owned, youll see some big US muscle iron that made big HP and big Lbs. And its pretty easy to do. $10k will get you the CobraSport 6.2l Crate engine making 800Bhp. So why do they get excited about 300?? My Nissan Titan, (similar to the navara over here but with a 5.9L v8 Endura engine) made 330hp from factory, no turbo.
-
I think youre trying to say W ank el engine Lol 2000bhp?? holy crap can it get the power down on the road?? I rode a 300hp hayabusa!! thats the most scared ive been in my life!

Jacqui, My mother suffered a broken back in 1986 (thanks sainsburys!!) and in turn became a sufferer of LUPUS SLE. She was unable to move too much and obviously excersize was not an option. she has reached a weight of 21 stone at her peak. She passed away in 2003 and her weight was 18 stone, through will power and eating good, a small amounts of excersize. Now i believe that some people are just going to be bigger than others and no matter what you eat and what excersize you do it wont make you thin as a bean pole (even though i personally find that disgusting!) You have my full support jaq, and you have passed the first Hurdle, YOU want to do this. I truly believe that you are already on the way to your goal. Im sure everyone here will support you in this and if you feel like you need a boost every now and then, just holler on here and we will all rally round! But remember, no matter what anyone else thinks, its YOU thats important. And its whats inside that counts too!
-
You can get Big power from small litreage! Just look at teh RX7's theyre only 1.3 and the new ones make ove 200bhp out the factory!! NO turbo either. if i remember, there was a guy at MSD who had done his Mini up in lunchtimes using all the stuff we had there. Decked heads, etc etc, and when he popped it on the rollers it churned out 160odd bhp Bearing in mind this was a non turbo 1150cc mini! What makes me laugh is in the USA, i spoke to guys who had 5.7 litre engines 'TUNED' to make 300hp!!!!!! Twats!
-
AHA!!!!!!!! my bad! i guess the pic was showing the loan car!!!!! damn HOW DUMB do i feel! SORRY compo! and i agree its still a scooby and you should go for the day.
-
Yes it is still an impreza Compo, is this the car you have? If so WHO told you what was wrong with it? Again IF you have the same car pictured, (I.E a non turbo) i think the garages are ASSUMING you have a turbo. Make sure you give them all the details so they can sort out your problem. Theres nothing worse than getting geared up to sort a car out to find that its completely different.
-
Thats a 1500GL!!!!! If this is the car you have the someone is lying to you about the turbo!!!!! Are you sure this is the car you have or just THE SAME SHAPE?
-
Damn good answer!!!! R1's are for Pussies!
-
Thats a Honda???? looked like an R1!! I imagine all the bike makers are going to that design front end nowadays!
