Hi all,
My insurance renewal is due in April.
I drive an Impreza P1
I'll be 22 years old by the time it's due
Driving for 4 years
4 years NCB
Clean licence
With Admiral Multicar (I have a Peugeot 205 too) the Subaru comes out at £750, which is good considering what I've been paying previously (driving Imprezas since 18 years of age).
Thing is, I hardly drive it as it's low mileage (36k on the clock) and I'm reluctant to put too many miles on it. It's garaged away and comes out for special occasions, holidays in the UK and meets/shows. I reckon less than 3000 miles a year.
Even though £750 (full comp) is good for my age etc... It's a lot for doing less than 3000 miles a year.
The only decent "Pay as you drive" insurer I could find (coverbox) have quoted be £4,500 for 3000 miles!!!! some saving eh!?
Anyone know of any other route I can take? If not, I'll just go with Admiral, I'm just trying to find a way to save myself some money.
Thanks
Michael
