  1. Nice to hear good reports... I said they are a good team over there - very helpfull and will do all they can to help out... Great news that your car is in progress... look forward to seeing the end result... keep in touch.... Andy
  2. Inside the fuel flap on my 02 STI type UK it clearly states - USE 98 OCTANE FUEL ONLY (I use V-Power 99 octane) I have heard many times of melted pistons - No.3 piston..... Sorry to hear that yours has gone bang - £3k though - ouch! hope you get it all sorted.... Andy
  3. RGR Garages Cranfield..... 01234 751145 - Ask for Tom - Bodyshop manager They Haave done a full respray on my 02 STI - I think Andy you saw me at the MK meet at Westcroft and said how clean my car was! I can highly recommend them and have put a few scooby owners their way as I am very fussy about my car.. they do a brilliant job! cheers Andy
  4. Using a pressure washer this time of the year is actually very good for your car - especially underneath the car and wheel arches as there is no other way to clean under your mota unless you have a full lift ramp! I snow foam my car every week and pressure wash the underside to remove salt and mud etc... Even the professional detailers use a snow foam type product to eat into the dirt of the car before they even touch it with a washmit.. look at www.polishedbliss.co.uk then removed with a pressure washer.... BP Linford wood seems to be the best one around MK - its always busy there and I think it also uses warm water Andy
  5. My one that I wouldn't change for the world....... Andy
  6. RE070'S I think as standard..... think someone will confirm this later..... Andy
  7. Hi John...... Sorry to say but I liked the other car - There are plenty of prodrive editions around for sale though, so if thats what yr after look on scoobynet in cars for sale... what's up with the paint on yr new one?, I'm sure that by using my equipment (porter cable 7424) and different products you could get the paint back to as new... I see you still have the photo I took of your car at prodrive last year would be good to see you again... Andy

  10. I asked the guy there about SIDC discount, he said they do offer discount to members ONLY if they provide a valid SIDC card... aparently a few people have been "trying it on" and saying they are in the SIDC.... I got discount on all parts I have got from them... no problems Andy
