Hi folks I might be on the lookout for a different 4x4 and thought about a Forester....would be an older one maybe 1999-2002 Is there any types I should be going for?....or what to look for when buying one?....auto or manual? Cheers Oops and it would be to replace my Mitsubishi Shogun lol

Would just like to say a huge thank you to a few folk on here 1st to Barry(baz) for replacing the crank seal,tb (and sensor ) allowing me to put my wagon back on the road (its going much better) :rotfl: thank you 2nd to Derek(strike) and Claire for putting up with me today and allowing me to join them on Lanark's Lanimers day whilst my car was in....(still feeling a bit woosy from the shows....waltsers lol) it was a brilliant day thank you Crikey I'm easy pleased My round next time

Just went to tax my wagon and my found my Mot ran out on 1st June (bit of deja vu here ) But managed to get it booked in today and she passed again with no advisories What a good car she is ......roll on Thursday

Aye we have good roads out this way too I live next to the A68 so use it regular....the speed cameras are ok though as I know where they are all sighted lol

I know that I need a crank sensor for my wagon...(its also getting soiled by oil from the leaking crank seal!) but would a faulty one cause the car to just cut out whilst running? Thanks in advance
