Hi Barry,
I take it they're okay to run with alloy arms then,or do you need bearing ones to ease stress on the alloy arm?- just a thought,i might be wrong.
Hi mate,
Glad your happy with the set-up, i've got the anti-lift,now looking to do the droplinks- just undecided which ones to fit to the front.Doing a wee bit at a time so that the wife doesn't winge!!
Spoke to the guy at Scoobyparts today and he told me there is 2 options for replacing the front droplinks on my newage, firstly the KLC32 (alloy without the bearing) or the KLC39 (steel with bearing) He recommended the KLC32 as the other ones with the bearings get noisy after time.Is this the best choice,or has anyone got other thoughts?
Does it need to be the ones with the bearing due to having 'alloy arms' ?
I cleaned both of mine yesterday ,might have somebody interested in the classic so fingers crossed,have agood weekend then,i'm away offshore on Thursday Will catch up we you sometime min.
Hi Euan,
Yes getting a knocking noise from the front,had it on the ramp tonite and noticed a bit of play on the drivers side front droplink,thought about changing the back ones while i'm at it.Good to hear from you again,hows things?
I'm looking to replace the front/back droplinks on my 2002 model Bugeye Sti and need to know the exact ones to order(as in part number etc) also need to know if i have to replace the ARB's or can i leave on the original ones .Secondly is Whiteline the only product available or are there any others worth considering apart from standard items.
Any help appreciated.
Tommo
Bought my Blobeye Sti on a week ago but the exhaust was a bit too loud for my liking (and my 3 year old daughter /wife/everybody in the street!) so took a trip down to Turriff Tyres and got a TS Racing 3" centre pipe c/w silencer and a new backbox.Car sound a bit quieter but still has a nice burble to it .Big thanks to Julian at Turriff Tyres for his advice and efficient service. Heres a couple of pics;
