  12. For those who live in and around the Arbroath area, they are having a full crack down on crime, with an extra 10 or so police on the job which is great…. However they now have two extra road traffic cars working, looking for anything from stolen cars to speeders… over the last two days I have seen them 3-4 times……so you have been warned!!

  14. Cheers for the comment, you know how bad i am with my car.... got to agree about the 997 comment, was never a fan of the 996, so Dad kept his 993 until Jan of this year because he could not find a car that could replace it, even now he regrets getting shot of it...

  17. a word of warning, this can happen to the rear arches on newages, if you tuck your hand in under the arch and run your hand along the inside (against the body pannel)you can feel a groove/ledge that in the winter gets full of mud and salt... you want to clean this out every week
  18. There are a couple of helpful people at T&C however the most of them are not even worth speaking too - I would rather drive 200miles than take the car there, I see you are from Dundee, have you tried Edan Subaru in Cupar or the new placein the Ferry?
  19. thanks guys - think I will go to my local gargae - who I know and trust to get an Oil & Filter Change then take it to a dealer for the warrenty check and get them to do the MOT at the same time. Cheers Scoobyit
  20. wish I could say the same - I will never use them again
  21. My car was out on the road in November 2005 – which makes it a late blob. When I got the car it had 14000 miles (december 2007) on the clock and had been given it’s 20,000 mile service, it’s now done 23k miles and don’t want to leave it until the 30k mile service interval. I have enquired to a couple of dealers who have quoted £190 for a interim service… seams a bit steep? Should I do this or just go to my local friendly garage and have the oil & filter changed? I also want a pre warranty expiry check done, however this can wait until the MOT needs doing… All advice welcome..
  22. Do they have people in there who have a history of working on Subarus?
  23. Kina my point, the drop in barrel is not being fully represented at the pumps because they know they can get away with keeping a good few pence on the price at the pumps..
