  1. Wow, I had no idea that he had been involved in an accident. Haven't been on here in a while, only met him a couple of times, nice bloke. Very sad news indeed, my thoughts go out to his family and friends.
  2. Thanks guys. My mate has just got one, he is a trader and had no idea how to price the car. It is absolutely stunning condition, previous owner was an elderly fella. My mate had it priced at 7k which I thought was steep but who knows. If it was me I'd rather have an sti but maybe someone will snap it up.
  3. Hi all, not been on in ages since selling my Impreza 3yrs ago. What do you recon a 2005 Impreza WRX 300 is worth? Car has done only 34,000 miles with fsh. It is absolutely immaculate. I wasn't aware this edition existed and only 300 made, hence the name lol. Any advice appreciated. Gordon
  4. Looking great Graeme, very nice.
  5. I did a track day a number of years ago in the reverse direction, really strange coming up thru' duffus. The rest of the track is really good in that direction tho.
  6. Oh and for those of you that know us, Heather and i are getting married this year.
  7. Oh that does look nice Paul, in two minds what to do, decided to have some work done on the trans am before i put it up for sale so not quite ready to buy at the mo.
  8. Neither did i Gus but i think its time for a change of toy.
  9. Cheeers Joe, your new one looks minted, need to give you a shout the next time i'm on the island. Colin, it was innevitable that i'd get another one mate, just not as a daily driver this time, gonna sell the Trans Am this year so whatever i buy will replace that.
  10. I like that too Paul, there's so many out there to choose from.
  11. I know Joe, fancy a nice clean classic this time and just keep it as a toy, been looking at series McRaes also.
  12. Got my eye on this Impreza, any comments or advice appreciated. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMPREZA-RB5-AWD-2000-1999-UK-STEEL-BLUE-No-92-/270904077994?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3f13242eaa
  13. Merry Christmas folks. Billy, thought you said Subarus were crap??
  14. Very nice Paul, both cars look hard as nails.
  15. Dropped the car off and met John Grove. Turns out i went to school with him lol.
  16. Thanks Colin, leaning towards the rimwax as ive been told it withstands the higher temps better. What'ya drivin' these days yourself?
  17. Also been advised that Smartwax Rimwax is supposed to be good, anyone tried this? Would the collinite 915 wax i use on the bodywork provide enough protection?
  18. Thanks guys. I'll look for the collinite stuff as i use their wax on the car and it's really good. Bobby, who's doing your wheels mate? Will keep you updated, pm me your mobile number. I'd post before and after pics but the wheels are on my Mondeo ST and not my Scoob, it's gone. I'm using the Wheel Specialist in East Kilbride, not the cheapest but only heard good reports from customers.
  19. Thanks for the advice.
  20. Can anyone recommend a good wheel sealant? Getting my alloys refurbed in a couple of days and want to protect them. Thanks in advance.
  21. Don't know what to say, these idiots should be strung up.

  24. Stunning Paul, very nice indeed sir.
