Im so glad i didn't part with any money joining this place. If this comes to a conclusion where kent scoobies is run by pele who is down to earth, friendly, easy going, on a level with most people and approachable then ill gladly become a full member for one. I cant stand the uppety stuck up attitudes in here. If i wanted to join a club where you have hierarchy and politics then sidc would be the one.

Spotted monty at walderslade morrisons petrol garage around 7pm ish. Nice graphics mate. Also spotted a silver classic at somerfield petrol garage at medway city estate around 9.30pm. Two guys, one with a high vis vest on. I was on the gsxr parked up that you were both eyeing and pointing at. Was gonna wave but you might have thought i was a bit weird being on a bike and waving lol.

Spotted pele this morning as i was coming in to gravesend. I did see your hazards flash when i was behind you and i gave a wave but dont know if you saw it with the sun reflecting off my windshield lol. What a nice exhaust you have

Ere matt for all that money you spent you could have rang up this guy whos in barking. Called prestige engines or something. They import engines from SMR in japan and they test all the gaskets, heads, pistons the lot and replace if necessary. The guys on ebay too. Think the engines go at about 800 delivered for a really good recon one. I got the number somewhere if you want it?

Yeah it is a 600. Its got 750 forks on it and a load of other goodies which i havent a clue about lol. Goes well though. Just need to build up a bit of experience and stop wobbling about so much lol. Bought it for work really in the summer. Never knew a bike could be so cheap to run. Saves on fuel costs (compared to the scoob), road tax (compared to the scoob), insurance, parts and you can even go through the dartford tunnel for free on one of these. Loads of advantages. It's a credit crunch saviour! (Wont ever replace the scoob though)

Here is my new toy. Yep it's on two wheels lol. I was bored so decided to make use of my time and complete one of them direct access motorbike courses before they decided to make the new tests more difficult. Only problem is...the poxy weather! Great fun nevertheless.

Front mounts are really great...just a little laggy and stick out like a sore thumb. And besides, the insurance guys can tell a mile off you got modifications. Being discrete these days always helps us does'nt it guys? lol

Its an absolute joke really. You can trawl through pages and pages of decent top mounts for other models above the version one at a very good price but when it comes to us poor ***** then its a major no no. I'd rather have mine refinned to allow better airflow than buy a used sti one with the same restrictions in the bent up fins. Or an sti one refinned lol. I've been looking at this problem for a little while now. Surely these guys who make the patented intercoolers can bring out a patented one for our early classics cant they? I have seen a top mount on a classic on a website before and what the guy did was remove the fins and use a mesh kinda thing to replace the fins. I have no idea if it worked for him as it was just a picture. Looked cool though. I had the same problem nudge....nothing else fits mate lol

Are you talking about new ones? If it's second hand ones your talking about im 99% sure they would be in the same state as mine lol.

Does anybody here know if the standard top mount can be refinned at all? I have heard they can be but have never actually come across anybody who does it. I dont fancy going down the front mount route and an aftermarket one is hard to get hold of and even if you can get hold of an aftermarket one, the prices are phenomenal. The car in question is a 93 wrx. Cheers my lovelies

Yeah get the gearbox checked out, could be repairable and cheaper. Talk to kent performance. They did my gearbox recently. KENT PERFORMANCE...TOP BOYS! Will i get discount now?
