Looking good Graeme
-
Well you will have to go quicker than you did the last time
lol Am sure i will as its shorter anti clockwise

I couldn't keep up with the 106 and the 205 in my class (they do have 30+ more bhp than me though) but I was having a not bad weekend until this happened
I had managed a 50.46 in practice, so I was looking for a low 50 or maybe even a 49 when I tried to take junction just a bit too fast.
Sorry to hear that John, hope you get it fixed in time for your next event.
Very impressive time
-
Pretty confident that I will make it unless I have a major disaster Hows your strut top and top mount? You really dont want to hit those rumble strips on the corners at the esses. How many times did you say "oh **** oh ****" the first time up
Strut and top mount not looking good, every day is a school day.
Looking forward to Machars now so i can whip your @ss

Will you be ready for Machars Arch ?

Thanks for the photo's Noel and Chris. The hill is as scary as they
say it is, You need balls like a prize bull to run it anywhere neer the
limit. Hats of to Don for a 54 in the standard scoob, you have put some
seasoned pros in better cars to shame. My best was a 56 but need to whip
Don's @ss next time

Full set up now. Took a bit of fidgeting as the light was murder. Too many clouds.
Cheers Stephen, briliant phot's especially liked the highland coo and the magpie

Don't get me started with Class Records! Just compiled this for Paul and it was a lot more difficult than it should have been - http://ninjabogey.wordpress.com/circuit-ti...nd-information/
Thats one quick bogey you mate has. Looked very impressive last weekend.
-
Have you got a late entry? You're not on the original entry list
Thanks for the heads up John, am on the late entry list.
-
Jac sorry mate that should have read anti-clockwise and I think you will be running clockwise tomorrow
Whats your best time clockwise Arch ?
-
cheers guys
myself and jac do need a bit of support ,
jimser dont want to start a argument about scoobs verses evos but haveing had a few of both a standard evo has it as a track car over the scoob but once both are modded they are about the same .
as for my evo 4 its got a bog standard engine only running 0.6 bar of boost , only mods are a air filter , a backbox only as car is still running cats in exhaust and tein suspension all the rest is standard but as i popped clutch on last run you lot might see the scoob out at doune this weekend as its looking like i cant get anyone to fit a new clutch by sunday
cheers Don
If you don't have any luck getting your clutch fitted let me know. I have a friend that
has a garage in Kirky how will fit it for you before Sun.
I wonder whats cc that new bottom end has thats in your Evo, certainly doesn't go like a standard one
-
Nice pic Stephen, looking forward to seeing the rest
-
Nice one JAC...........car looks sweeeeeeeet!
Cheers Andy, I hope it still looks that way after Doune on Sun
-
well no chance of these fitting on a standard classic so what is a set of these wheels worth?
£100... will i pay you cash on collection or paypal
-
Drop dead gorgeous right out the wrapper
No need to mod this bad boy, just think of the money you will save.
-
Good day out, caught up with a few folks and took a few pics, JAC that car is a beast and for a first outing that was an impressive time ( Neil are you sure that was his best time, could have sworn he did a 90 sec)
Have a pic as a congrats
Nice shooting Spooks, Am saving this one as my desk top.
My bes time of the day was a 91.56.
-
Oh, wait till you see what we have planned for the last round
Service crew in toga's and laurels and driver in sandels, fireproof toga and helmet made of wicker.
Brilliant day, took my dad along and he loved the action and getting in about the cars in the pit area.
Now that would be a sight for sore eyes.
-
Well done Jac and Dom, looks like an excellent day.
Jac, what are the shades about ? Think you are taking this 'Racing God' thing too far
---john---
PMSL... One of my pupils can't contract and expand to light. It dose look a bit flash,
i will have to get a decent helmet with a visor
-
What a fun day Kames track is amazing and rewording, the people are friendly
very helpful and make you feel welcome. More of us should give it a go as Dom has
proved you don't need a powerful car to be competitive. Nice driving mate.
Thanks for all the pic's and kind words.
