  13. it seems bad drivers are always going to be on the road. i was injured in a car accident in 2002 i had the lapbelt on when the car i was in left the road & hit a telegraph pole at 50mph (it was in a 60mph zone). i broke my back & had a spinal cord injury along with some other injuries. i spent 5months in rehab at the spinal unit in glasgow southern general. i'm a paraplegic & permanent wheelchair user. i wasn't the driver but it still hasn't put me off being on the road. i love cars & motorsport. i drive my auto scoob with hand controls. one of my colleagues from spinal injuies scotland (www.sisonline.org) who was also injured on the road took part in a major campaign/multi-media show in 2006, with live performances targeted young people who are approaching driving age and aimed to leave them with a very hard hitting and hard to forget message about their vulnerability on the road. http://www.aberdeenshirecommunitysafety.or...drive_2006.html i think this is a good approach for educating all people about to take to the roads and should be done all over the country. this is the car i was in, i count myself as being very lucky to still be here.

  15. ok ignore that link it for some reason is a link to coronation street ha i don't even like coronation street :kerstsmiley: anyways go to the itv 4 website & into the sport section & their should be a watch video section, mrs senna's bit is on that.
  16. i think that it was the repeat. watch the flash box in this link. it's a touching part of the show in which mrs erton (prob wrong spelling) senna speaks. http://www.itv.com/?vodcrid=crid://itv.com/10913 :kerstsmiley:
  17. check out the bottom left on the page of this link, it will show the links for some of the award winners. http://www.autosport.com/news/ it was very moving at points as mcrae was mentioned by some of the drivers & retired drivers and some footage of him was shown too. the programme had many a legend on it jackie stewart, damon hill, danni francetti who wore his tarten trousers as a tribute to his good friend mcrae. as it happened jackie stewart had his on too but the pair insisted it wasn't planned.
  18. just watching the auto awards on itv4 just now it's pretty good stuff.
