  1. Just a pitty your 7D wasnt a 50cal !!

    Come on now! B)

<picture>This is where I would have inserted a picture from Centralia, Pennsylvania, a small town in Coal Country. Doomed, a rutted wasteland of gaping holes and toxic fumes from an underground mine fire, this town resembles more of the Gates of Hell than a residential area. Unfortunately for me, Windows 7 deleted it's startup software and these pictures are hidden in the back corner of my useless harddrive.</picture>

  2. Thanks guys. I was crewing for a Subaru team, and only was able to get to the Super Special. This was my first time venturing into the manual settings.

I chose the Mits (non evo) because it was the best action shot I had. They had a nasty wreck later in the event. Should be a video on Youtube somewhere of them going flat out into the trees.

  3. Yeah, definitely. I read that article on Speedhunters and it's a pretty cool story. I didn't really realize that he was out until I noticed that he wasn't coming into the services (I was crewing for #779), and then I saw a picture of the aftermath. He looks OK and seemed to be in good spirits about it though.

  4. Getting better Shaun! Is that the infamous Bill Caswell Craigslist BMW?

Why yes it is. He was out of fuel and stopped by to borrow some. Didn't get to check out the car, just verified that it is the BMW, shook hands, and helped them fill the car up.

  5. Pictures from the New England Forest Rally in Maine this past weekend. This is the first time I kept the camera in a manual mode (shutter speed and aperture at least), and I don't think they turned out too shabby.

This is a true Prodrive chassis. It was a former recce car, later converted to Group N. I'm going to get in touch with the owner to get the full history.

  6. Not my best work, but a few shots from the Wicked Big Meet in June.

Finally picked up a book for the XSi (only took 6 months), so maybe I can finally learn my way around the camera and take it out of the Auto settings.

Interesting note on the foz, but that lift is more of a body lift an a suspension lift. The ride height is gained by spacers at the strut mounts and subframe. The engine was obviously mounted much lower in the engine bay, as is pretty much every other chassis component. It seems like a very straightforward modification, with the only real custom thing being modified radiator hoses and a lengthened joint where the steering column meets the steering rack.

Sketches from a box I dug out of my closet, labeled "High School."

This was my first attempt at drawing a realistic human figure. The item in the hand is a pocket-watch.

Inspired by cover art from the Human Clay album by Creed, this was a practice run for a full color image, complete with background. I sketched this late in my Senior year of high school (2005) and never got around to completing it.
