I think the 225 is the problem and not the 45 part although having 35 profile will reduce the amount of movement in the sidewall under hard cornering in comparison to 45 profile.

I have them on mine and they do fit but a slight bit of rubbing on the strut leg under severe cornering. I am gonna source some 5,mm spacers to give a tad more clearence
