Well.. Had her looked over today, (and the car) lol and Typically the smell had gone, he checked all the fuel lines and could see no residue or anywhere where it could leak. Also you said about the fuel filter. When he changed it last year he added proper screwable circlips instead of the clip ones mr Subauru puts on. So no joy there either. If it is a common problem does it come and go? or would it be a perminent problem? becuase as I say it didnt smell at all today and when I drove it last Friday it was such a strong smell that it burnt me nose lol. Also optimax is bloody 122.9 a litre near me!! but if we werent scooby mad and love them to bits we wouldnt pay it a. Ah well. Cheers again, Kev

Two top answers there! Each with their own merits lol I must admit I attempt to drive not using boost but then the urge gets the better of you and away you go! Nothing like it IMHO!!! Long live the Scoob!! haha

Excellent! I am taking it to my mechanic mate tommorow as I am no good with a spanner lol but its great to have a head start and maybe give him a few pointers. Hi all, Thanks for the replies! What a geat forum and people on here!! Sods law though I went to me car yesterday and today and it hasnt done it once! (must have looked a bit odd me standing on the drive unlocking and locking my car loads of times lol) As for the relay how do I know what wire etc? or is it best an autoelectrician?? HI, My beloved Scooby lately has had a weird thing happening, When I unlock the car sometimes my left indactor stays on?? I have to lock then unlock sometimes for six or seven times until it finaly goes off. Any ideas?? It is a bit of a strange one! Also its only when using the keyfob, its a 2001 bugeye WRX. Spotted, well I saw one in Aylesbury a black one hanging through town giving it some beans at the roundabout near the towncentre, poss near Chicagos I think. Also I Heard one in aylesbury lol. I was in a meeting on Griffen Lane a couple of weeks ago must have been about midnight and all i could hear was a Scoob parked outside revving the nuts off!!! I did have a chuckle to myself!! Hey guya and Gals. I have a 51 plate WRX in silver. I took it to my local scooby garage for a service whilst I was there the chap commented saying "dont see many of them" I thought this was a bit odd and asked him what he meant, basicly when mine was new the owner requested from the factory a "subaru bodykit" as such, which includes small front spats, rear spats on bumber and small fin like skirts on the side and a twin headlight conversion. I have never seen another WRX with these on, so is it just me or was it an option that not many people had from new? Also it has a WRSport exhaust which he said came from Subaru aswell. Any ideas? Ill try to get some pics up soon to show ya all what I mean because my description is a bit vague! Cheers in advance.

Hello again! Well as it is nearly christmas I thought I would treat my sccoby to a dump valve. Has anyone got any ideas on what one to have? I dont wanna be spending huge amounts of money but want something that is going to last and sound nice, not too loud but just so it puts a smile on my face! Or if anyone has one for sale? even better!! its for a 2001 WRX. Cheers,
