I was the same when I bought the blob. I said I was going to leave it standard. Wheels, interior, suspension, engine bay, roof flap later I think I'm finished

Got up nice and early and gave the car a quick wash, then went for a blast round some of my favourite roads
Loch Earn
Dukes Pass over looking Loch Achray
Had a good run and even passed a smart car that was ablaze at balquhidder. It had been one of these tow cars behind a motor home but somehow they had managed to disconnect and move away from the fire.

Hello and welcome. I'm just down the road in Kincardine, spent thirteen years working in the glassworks.
Very nice clean bug.

This picture covers both really. Having the chance to get my car along side such a famous impreza! The worst would be the reason why we were there.

Cars looking great Peter.

Just the widetrack had the 114 so they should be fine.
-
No Phil. Plans afoot for a new garage so working loads and all spare cash going towards that. Hopefully have the 555 roadworthy for next years.
-
If only it had been 114's you could have had a set of mine

Chris here's your tour bus

Also the diesel is more expensive to buy and the fuel is dearer as well so unless your doing serious mileage it just doesn't add up.
-
when you bought the runaround..... but your back on track now Paul
Very true! Awaiting planning permission for a double man cave in the back garden
-
Cycle to work half the time, cutting the fuel costs and keeping her happy?
-
I bought a cheap run around and garaged the 555 a few years back thinking I'd save money. Its been there ever since and I've now got a blob as well!
Where did it all go wrong

Its a slippery slope. Thats two cars to buy mods for. I said I'd leave the blob standard and that didn't last a week
