not exactly new but not had my own impreza for a while..... ive had many imprezas over the years-(joys of owning a car sales garage),but have only had a few "keepers". i have just purchased one that will be a keeper-its one ive always fancied as it could be used as a fast road car and potential track toy should i ever get rid of my track bmw m3. ive just collected a 1997 sti v4 type r in white.only mods at the mo are cusco coilovers,alloy radiator and greddy water temp gauge.its done 56000 miles and drives lovely-nice and tight. plans are a v6 rear spoiler,some nice anthracite 17" wheels,boost controller,exhaust/decat,better brakes.......for now! im from warrington,cheshire. a couple of pics;

hi guys im back in an impreza now-a v4 sti type r. im loving it already and its not even registered yet! however it is missing the graphics from the rear quarters and the boot lid-does anyone know if these are available from anywhere? going to be throwing a few quid at it now as i want a v6 rear spoiler,some bigger wheels(17" though in case i venture out on track),maybe a front mount cooler,and definately a decat and exhaust as its still on standard one! any reccomendations on exhausts,induction kit,boost controller,brake pads that work well on these car would be much appreciated. cheers jay

looking to be getting the car on a few trackdays soon. its curently on standard size discs with red stuff pads and of course the brembos....... what pads do you track boys use?want them to be as good as my mates m3 csl.

hi guys,im pretty new to this site and modified imprezas(cossie man!). how strong is a standard sti bottom end on my 2003 sti v8uk.at the mo its running external wastegate with screamer pipe(standard turbo) 1.6 bar boost,autronics ecu with als and launch,heyward and scott exhaust. am toying with going bigger turbo/injectors and maybe more boost so was wondering how strong the engine is internally as standard? thanks in advance jay
