Well - not really ... as I was ONLY upset with the main reason we joined 1st of all - as already posted ref the insurance - and " at the time " that was not worth the reason in the end - as already mentioned. BUT if you are asking I will reply to your question .. it is alot of money for True grip ! we got the stand passes WHICH IS GREAT - and we did used to like the events - BUT --- without naming any names - people in the SIDC as in only 1 or 2 memebers ONLY have messed up the full feel of the family feeling it used to have when we 1st started with the SIDC . This said if the benefits are good for the future -and the members (they know who they are) Allow this club to be friendly now as it was when we 1st started - we will be very happy to pay a renewal . I loved the SIDC when we 1st started 2 years ago . and now its down in the " its not bad " side of things ----- We need the club to get back the the "" GREAT "" standards as all the sidc members would expect . I hope these points are of help to you and the club and that i have replied fairly to your question SO AS THE TITLE SAYS - LETS MOVE FORWARD " AS A COMBINED CLUB " WE CAN'T GO WRONG

no argument - just facts - just was upset it took ages for them to come back to us in the 1st place. I now not with the elephant, but a more specialised broker - but as you say I would rather not need there service - but in the event the worst may happen a good service is always a BIG plus as well as the price (but the way things are in the world now - the price also does help).

My other 1/2 joined the SIDC for one of the reasons - cheaper car insurance ! I hope these are better than the last people that were giving Great insurances prices ! MMmm .. The reason I say this is it took 2 - 3 weeks for them to get back to us . (after we chased as well !) well by then the insurance renewal had come and gone and to top it of they were OVER £300 more than the quote and price he got from the Elephant place . Now this year we did not even bother and we looked around and saved around £180 extra again ... I guess the new insurance company does not have much to beat from the last ones SIDC recomended ! Lets wait and see if its worth another £30 renwal. Lets hope so

I have heard of this before and from what i have heard the police will look for ICE if you have been in an accident, i think it is a very good idea - especially if you many have children at school or with a childcare provider.

I would like to nominate: Iain Philips (Wimpy) I personally think he has done a brilliant job while he was in post as events organiser - he was always there to get everyone sorted into place and ensured our stands looked fab. Good luck Iain.

Hi all, As we have mentioned to some of you Adelane is having a birthday party at Jardines on Saturday 24th January. We were wondering if you would like to meet up & have a BSC bowling session from 6pm. If anyone is interested can you please let us know then we can book the lane/lanes depending on how many want to bowl. At present we have provisionally booked 2 lanes with 1 game of bowling.
