  1. I was driving to work on the A9 this morning and as I came up to the Broxden roundabout (Perth) there was a big tailback. Then I saw the police slow sign and thought, oh dear - an accident! As I was driving past the coned off lane I got pulled over by a traffic cop and it turns out there was no accident, it was a traffic cop checkpoint with VOSA!!

By the time I stopped my car I wasn't worried about being late for work, it was the 2 issues of my (ahem) slightly updated font on my plates and my full decat!!!!!!!

I was even less happy to see them load 4 cars onto low loaders that they had deemed illegal and the drivers were being told to walk to the bus stop or arrange alternative transport!!! (never seen anything like it)

After 15 minutes of traffic cops going round my car and a couple of dozen questions later, the cop in charge said "off you go", honestly, I've never been so relieved

Be warned if you're on the A9 to Perth!!!!

  2. Well done mate. Was on the PB website yesterday and wondered whose it was. Looking really good ;)

Just about to start on mine which is looking a bit sorry for itself at the moment. It will be my first go with the G220. Hopefully the weather will hold over the next few days.

Cheers mate, just take your time with the G220, it's really superb once you get used to it!!

  3. Aye no bad Mike ;) Aye, okay, looks good. Congrats on winning. Better not enter myself now so soon, can't have PB looking like there's favouritism for Scoobys now could we !! Mine is in desperate need of a detail but I just can't get the time I need to get stuck in to it properly till the end of the month.

Was the bodywork swirly or did the 106 take it all out and polish it up at same time ?

Was quite swirly but using 106 with the G220 did the trick!!

  4. Just got a call from Rich at Polished Bliss to say I've just won their March Show 'n' Shine competition, so I've now got £150 worth of products to pick!!

All the photos are on their websit if you want a look

    Well Happy

Fraser (superstar tradesman), I'll give you a shout when I get my holibags in June to see when we can get your car done.

Andy (Oobster) you had your car done yet?? if not, give me a shout and I'll see what we can do

    Cheers

Can see why there popular, really finishes the rear off without being as chav like as some of the others I've seen.

    Cheers bud... :banana2:

Part no is - SECSSE3020, they'll have to get it from Belgium as the UK is out of stock. RRP is £260, with SIDC discount £234 (unpainted)!!!!

It's a Subaru aftermarket item, I'm currently ordering and shipping 3 to Hawaii for some mates as they can't get them out there, it seems to be very popular!!
