Hiya mate,
I take mine to the subaru/volvo garage next to strawberry hill station near twickenham. No problems with the services and they give the 10% discount if you show your SIDC members card.
That reminds me, time I got a service ....

Torque of the Devil are based in Uxbridge, they do alot of work with Impreza's.

But think about it, 5 people on the list and the thread has been up for over a month
Not many SIDC members in London mate, the one's that are make the effort when they can.

Okay, for anyone who is interested we will be meeting at the London Gateway Services on the M1 at 06:00 on Sunday.

Gentlemen,
Given the difficulty which we face finding our regular meeting points throughout London, I have decided to hold a number of meets at various potential venues which I have singled out as possibilities. Obviously not knowing how these venues will suit our needs, I thought the easiest way would be to "test-drive" them.
This will hopefully also encourage all the new members from the London region to meet with the existing members etc, and of course to have beer (non alcoholic of course! ), get some food and have some general banter.
The first test-drive venue I have chosen is:
The White Hart
144 Kingston Road
Wimbledon
SW19 1LY
Sunday 31st August @ 20:00 is the date!
This venue was chosen because of it's convenient parking (20 odd spaces). Seems plesant inside and apparently does thai food!?!
Naturally I would appreciate any suggestions you may have for potential venues so that I can add it to the "test-drive" list.
If you are interested, please put your name on the list below so that I have numbers, obviously if there aren't enough people interested I will cancel it for this month:
1. Black Wing
2.
3.

Anyway, hope to see you all there!

Thanks for the feedback guys, have been looking at these two and also greenwood racing developments in surry.......anyone used them B4???
Have herd that there is another place in uxbridge, someone that used to work at power engineering?????
Torque of the Devil are in Uxbridge, they guys came from Power Engineering and funnily enough their workshop is literally next door to it. Once these guys have moved to their bigger workshop in about a months time, i'll be organising a rolling road day there.
I was there chatting to them a few weeks ago and they showed me a project car they were working on, it was a rear mounted boxer from a scoob in the back of a mk1 fiesta, think they said they were going to use it on a drag strip

Has anyone used the Yokohoma S Drive before? What were they like?

Sounds good Iain, where will you be parking though?
-
Welcome,
There will be a London meet soon local to the SW and will be posted up soon, please come along and meet us, your help is very much welcomed.
Cheers
