  1. Hey guys hows it going?

Mark hows the business running? Has Capital scoobies kicked off ? Any news on the Tops?

I know your busy mate, im sure guys n girls here would help if required

    :icon_salut:

    Hiya Riz,

Yes mate been very busy recently.

I'm currently trying to tempt out some sponsors. A rolling road day at Torque of the Devil has been organised although i'm just bouncing some dates around as they are moving locations at the minute.

The T-shirts wheel is turning very slowly at the moment i'm afraid, i'm having to design the logo and basically teach myself photoshop from scratch which is taking ages.

The Fulham Mitre should be the stage for our monthly meets hopefully although I just need to check the parking situation.

Are you going to the Uxbridge show?

  2. Thanks guys.... I bought an MY03 STi in silver..... currently doing the whole detango/black paint/HID install so as soon as its done and back on, I'll post up pics.....

Also need to sort out a small crack on the bumper before the JTS show in Uxbridge..... Anyone coming?

Sounds good, an STI is always a solid choice.

We will be going to the Uxbridge show yes, check out the thread.

  3. Aaaah finally back online...

Welcome welcome Jamee, there will be a rolling road day and local London meet coming soon so keep your eyes peeled...

Where are these photo's as well B)

  4. This is going to happen over the next couple of months...and it is not good news !

Current camera's i found dont seem to go off if you are decelerating from around 90-95 mph

The new ones will obviously be set alot lower to catch people out and generate that all important extra revenue for the government !

I heard that digital camera's were turned on between junctions 10 and 15 2 months ago, no escape from those puppies:(

  5. I would also like to extend a belated thankyou to Rob and the Surrey Scoobies crew including also Granby and the Kent Scoobies and (I think some) of the Sussex Scoobies.

It was an excellent meet regardless of the weather where an excellent range of Imprezas turned up, some of which included a brand new STI and a few 500+bhp models which drew quite a crowd.

I have to say also that is a very exciting prospect continuing our colaboration with Surrey Scoobies in the future, they are a great bunch with a very strong following and I look forward to the future meets this year.

    Cheers

  6. i am going to the capital scoobies , uxbridge and PTM shows just wondering if anyone else was going ?

Maybe we can meet up and travel up together ?

    Hi Darren,

We will probably be meeting somewhere near Wimbledon to convoy down the A3 for the Fairmaile Meet, details will be posted a bit nearer the time.

    Whereabouts are you based?

    Cheers

  7. Hi Mark,

We're up to 17 so far (not bad considering we were only tipped off Saturday :)). (The Fairmile can accomodate a couple of hundred cars, as has been proven by their annual car club BBQ in August - one for your diaries :o )

Have you requested the function room for this event? If not, I can get Chris, our events coordinator to have a word at the meet this weekend and arrange it.

As for registering on our forum, your account was activated on the 17th of February? If you are still having problems, drop me a line at rob@surreyscoobies.co.uk and I'll sort it.

Finally, there are no fixed speed traps on the stretch of the A3 from the M25 to Cobham, but you may want to watch out for the local Constabulary that sit on the left from Cobham to the Fairmile.

    See you all soon,

    Rob.

    Surreyscoobies Admin.

17 cars ALREADY! Excellent work Rob, hope we're not stepping on your toes (as it is officially in Surrey) but what a great venue! I hope the sun is smiling on the day!

Yep the fuction room should be our, however i'm just waiting to hear back from them to confirm it as they wasn't sure if some other event was using it on the same day.

Aaaah, sorry Rob, you're right...got my activation on the 17th

    Cheers

    Mark

Well, thanks to Stiggy, we're now aware of this over on Surreyscoobies! :)

Hope you don't mind a welcoming committee...

    Rob

    Surreyscoobies Admin.

Well done Stiggy, I was still waiting for my account to be activated, takes a while eh?

Rob, will be great to see your lot down the Fairmile in March...How many do you think will be coming just so I know rough numbers?

    Cheers

    Mark
