that would be me then would you believe i was trying to sell it haha! my last wet run on sunday was ace! especially coming round the left at oaktree! unfortunately i broke an engine mount so my gear selection was a bit messed up! i pulled 5th at the top of east brae knackered my run! but thanks for the comment my mate has my oak tree pass on video, car sounds nice in 4th @ 7k!

lol i was only using upto 4k on the way home apart from once, after we stopped for the corsa. i did smell somethin on the way home but it wasnt brakes, god knows

ud be in the 2 litre class and u wouldnt stand a chance. unless ur only wanting a bit of fun then it looks good.

my mate gave me his cayman for 30 mins or so to blast about town. must say its lovely to drive but i didnt find it quick at all. the gears are a bit on the light side i prefer the subaru shift

yeh i enjoyed myself. missed the hillington bit but joined in at the roundabout as you come out the car park. i was in the standard blue hawk eye. didnt really speak to many people. ill be more social next time lol had a quick blether with colin at the final car park. that car of urs is mint! looking foward to seeing the pics. i got a nice panoramic shot of the faslane stop.

uch there was a mix up with the entry, my dads fault lol im using standard ratios which suck! im bogging down coming out the bottom hairpin cause its welll off cam. the guy in the corsa was using 4th i was strugglin to get use of 3rd! ive also got coilovers ordered so it should be a total different car by june. throttle bodies, BE straight cut gearbox with a 5.4 final drive and plate diff, custom driveshafts, coilovers, rev limit turned up to around 8.2k instead of 7k just now, peugeot sport clutch kit, rose jointed gearlinkages and a fiberglass bonnet with intake cut for the boddies. if all goes to plan it should be a total different car looking forward to the next doune!

Im assuming it would have been the early black evo( Evo 2 ?), the other black evo ( 5 or 6 i think ) had a rear diff fault and never made the timed runs. I may well be wong though. yeh it was dave in the evo 3. he broke the hill record for that class! i reckon cause i loaned him a hose clip for the boost pipe finished up alright. won my class and was only 1.7 secs off the hill record considering im well down on power no straight cut box no lsd and no avons! so by june that time is gettin shattered!
