Glad you and the mrs are OK Dave, I had same experience in my old saxo. Was going round a bend that I drove every day and i could have done it with my eyes closed but this day it wasnt meant to be !! Back end spun round crossed the road hit kerb and up onto embankment. Wasnt much damage to car but I lost all confidence in it and my driving ability!! Best thing to do if car is a write off is strip it, sell all parts and then buy a newage impreza !! If you go back to a "normal" Car you will find it weird Anyways glad your all ok!!

Brilliant Idea, I grew up 7 miles away from Lanark and often seen Colin and Alistair racing around the industrial estate in lanark, I just came back up from Norwich last night so missed sundays tribute, but let me know when this is organised and I WILL be there !!! In this day and age and all the technology we have there are still people who want what you have and will do anything to get to it. I had an old XR3i years ago and had clifford alarm and the such, cars were going missing from the morola car park in bathgate where i used to work and each night this black granada followed me home! I thought it was coincednce!! Well one saturday night i stayed at my mates house to be woken up by banging outside, I goes to the window and heres 6 guys round my car trying to steal the wheels and anything else they could get there hands on, called the plod but they were no help so i chased them away with a table leg !! Anyways to cut a long story short lol when i got in the car and drove round corner here was that black granada sitting, so they had been watching me for weeks waiting to pounce. I never leave the scoob anywhere now even tho its got a tracker and cat1 alarm and immobiliser, its just these small petty mined idiots who want to wreck what we all work hard to buy. Rant over !!!

Well guys i got my bug eye from Gav @ greives, the car had loads of wee niggling problems(like o2 sensors, leaking sump, leaking rocker cover gaskets) They sorted most of it out under warranty but I now take my car up to AWD motorsport in Perth. Grant and the guys have done all the mods to my car and yesterday they carried out its 60k service and got it mot'd for me, Ive always found them to be great value and always honest upfront about potential other costs. But its each to there own i guess lol

Well guys its official, Im defo coming to join you all lol got the house in STALHAM ?? not seen it yet but my other halfs there already lol cleaning and stuff ha ha ha I will be down next week so keep an eye out lol

Well my mrs is a DOC in a&e in monklands and due to the new MTAS system she is out of a job come august.

Well i took the safest route lol got Grant and the guys @AWD to change mines, i went for a set of Denso Iridium plugs and i de-catted the car as i was there lol Thanks again for all help and advice. Daz

Turns out its not a wheel bearing, its the rear damper leaking oil ( oh Dear) Gives me an excuse to put a set of new Coilovers on lol, oh also have a leaking rocker cover gaskets and my rear drop links are shot lol Car ownership is pain sometimes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used CCLM @sighthill for all my cars and the set up has always been great, as for tyres im a toyo guy through and through but they are soft and wear badly. Im inclined to change to Yoko parada spec 2's as alot of the guys use them(gives me an excuse to have 2 sets of alloys lol)

Well my car should still be under warranty so once the AWD guys have advised me what it is i will give the "Stealers" a call and see if bearings are covered. I know that my car has Jap spec rear discs (290mm) off a SVX and speaking to Grant @AWD he said i may need the bigger bearing size, so roll on saturday ! Car ownership is never easy !!

Im up getting another oil change at AWD on saturday so will get Grant and the guys to check it out, took it to a local garage and the guy said that cos of all the suspension drop links that he didnt have a clue how to fix it lol

Is it common for rear bearings to go on Bug eyes ?? I cant explain the noise lol but I know there is something not right, hoping its not Driveshaft Any advice will be greatly accepted Cheers Darren.
