Subaru quote over £750 for the main piece alone!
Rhymes with "Clucking Bell!!!"
No chance of a colour coded one from a wreckers yard?
-
Any pics with no wing?

Welcome to the club. Hope you enjoy the ride!
-
What colour EBC brakes? I just put yellows on mine and I find that there is fading when things get warm - not as good as the Axxis ULT ones they replaced that's for sure...
-
Yes too cold indeed. Plus the big road seems to be closed a lot recently.
six days just to reply to you....says it all.
I'd love to meet up some time, getting most scooby owners to even wave is like pulling teeth round here. Miserable lot.
Obviously haven't passed me yet Ramsey to Douglas and back each day - always wave out hope the mountain opens again soon!
-
Merry Christmas to you John and to all of you. We hope that you all have a cracking new year too.
Tony and Lou.

Looking lovely mate, I run Bridgestone RE070's on mine and I am across the mountain every day to and from work. Rain, sleet or shine they have never let me down. Tony at Formula Fast Fit is the man who looks after me in this regard, and I'll be in for a new set in the next couple of months.
Enjoy your new car

Happy Birthday John

Hi Emma
Cracking car (saw the pics on XLR8) - good choice and welcome to the club.
-
And to you John, I caught you just in time there and had to tell the missus who I was waving to.
Hope that Patrick gets all he's after!!!
Merry Xmas

Hi Richard,
How are you? All a little quiet here on the Island currently as we batten down the hatches for winter. Records for cold starts to the day are being broken and the mountain has already had a few days shut due to ice.
Tony.

HI Nick,
Demesne Road, Douglas.
It's a back section and you turn in to the first/second driveway on your left (I believe that Demesne Road is one way)
Regards,
Tony.

Hi Nick,
Personally, I have never had any issues with Formula Fast Fit. They have replaced two sets of four on the Scoob and the rims are as they were before I went in.
Seem like a decent crowd in there and I get on quite well with Tony.
Up to you though.
Regards,
Tony.

OH YES!!
So much for it being finished and me not needing to spend more money on it, I have a whole new vision for her now
I have not told Hels yet though
OOOp she's gonna kill you!!!
-
I'd be up for that!!!
-
Good find!!!
-
Hey Richard,
Great to hear from you. Yup the mountain is definitely one-way, still lovin' that trip to work every morning!!!
Hope you are well.
Regards,
Tony.

Now thats what I'm talking about!
Pity it's not this time next year - right on the button for price!
-
Nick,
I apologize it would appear that I misquoted Chris at scoobytuner.com. Here are the prices he sent me:
Front: $209.95
Rear: $104.95
Shipping: $40.00
All up that is $354.90 or on todays exchange rate at xe.com - £177.64
When I shipped in my recent set of front pads from him I paid no duty on them coming into the UK.
This was also true of the previous shipment 9 months ago which was front and rears.
Hope this helps.
Kind reagrds,
Tony.

Hi,
I called Chris at scoobytuner.com last night and am waiting on an email quote from him.
Regards,
Tony.

Can you suggest a cheaper source? I've just spent an hour & can't find anywhere (on the 'net) that are cheaper.
My man Chris at scoobytuner.com informs me he could do a full set of DS2500's for about £100 inc. postage
-
I'm about to replace my pads and have imported Axxis ULT ceramic pads from the U.S. for about £70 for a front set (rears are OK).
I got that a bit wrong £47 inc p&p etc...
Another Newbie (sigh)

If the pic you want to post is on your PC:
First you need to ensure that what you want to attach is less than 20MB in size - if a pic save it as a ".jpg" to reduce MB size.
When creating or replying to a post you will see, under the "Post" section another section labelled "Attachments". Browse to the pic on your PC by clicking on the "Choose File" button and once you have select the pic you want then click on the "Attach This File" button.
Use the "Preview Post" button to check it is as you want it. Hint: Make sure your typing cursor is on a line of it's own before attaching the file to the post.
If the pic you want to post is hosted on a website e.g. photobucket.com:
When creating or replying to a post you will see above the "Post" section a row of icons and if you place your mouse over them a description of each one is given - the fifth one in from the right is "Insert Image". Click on the "Insert Image" icon and type or paste into it the URL of the picture from where it is hosted.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Tony.
