  1. Very dirty!! Just back from Ireland and it needs washed. Will try to get it done tomorrow before I head down to knockhill.
  2. My fault for not creating my own thank you post, but i'm a forgetful sod! Again can't fault Iain, top bloke, top work. Would recommend. See you again soon Iain!
  3. Very nice mate, enjoy! House location looks crackin too!
  4. Quick shout out for some help. Heading home to Ireland with the car and bloody typical N.Ireland do not have shell garages! So no V-Power! Basically does anyone in larbert/falkirk/stirling area have some good octane booster at their place and wants to sell me some? Cheers guys
  5. Cheers lads, thanks for the comments. See some of you soon at the meets and runs once they start evenings up again!
  6. Whole programme had me in stiches. Quality all through!! Fat stig, hill billies, alligator braking zones and driving cars through red neck country with Man love on the side! SIDC Road trip?!
  7. I'm sorry but this just gets me every time, bloody car parks! Which is why I seldom take car and park it anywhere near these places. And when I do, I freely admit to being one of those tossers that parks over two spaces. Cos quite simply you can't trust the idiots on their shopping outings not to cause expensive damage. w***ers!
  8. Welcome and enjoy the car! Get those pic's up!
  9. From Falkirk area Fai. And yeah it had big brakes on it, but he had them sold before I bought it. Was about to be traded in when I went to see it!
  10. Thanks for the nice comments guys. As for sunroof its one of only a few P1's that subaru have sunroofs on. Just luck of the draw when i went looking. Certainly was not on my 'must have' list! Hope to see some of you lot and the meets and Knockhill SIDC day!
  11. Well finally got round to taking some pictures so thought i would share them. Waited till i had front splitter sprayed and alloys refurbed. Hope you all like! Hmm need to resize them, will repost! Admin if you can delete post until i work out how to resize!
  12. Just back too! What a difference in the P1! Andy, as already said, a very top bloke!! And the exhaust system i picked up from him is the dogs danglies too! Im now poor!
  13. Organized!! Plus it will be a wee trip to home for me anyways! Aaron
  14. Put me down then! Seeing Andy this week hopefully. Will report back as to how i got on!
  15. The guy is spot on in Falkirk mate. He really does a good job and explains everything he is doing. Welsh - Like the other posts I take it the Glasgow rep is not the best. Should come to central and use that one! [] The guy who does the falkirk area is his name Paul? It was Paul who was out quoting for me in Falkirk area, so i guess its his domain. Unless there are two reps out of the central belt doing the Glasgow/Falkirk/Stirling area?
  16. As in the E36 evolution model? Great car by all accounts, drove fantastic. Wouldnt touch one with a barge pole though. The Twin-Vanos that BMW used for the car was faulty as hell and quite regularly goes. Needless to say its not cheap to fix, from recollection about #1000 for each vanos. A quick look around the Autotrader you'll see plenty of ads along lines of 'Vanos replaced 5000 miles ago etc etc'. Some have had two, others more. Its a known problem to BMW and they replaced loads under warranty. Rather worryingly there didnt seem to be direct correlation to mileage covered. They just went! When i done some research into them as i was thinking of one, general consensus all round was get the E36 M3. All BMW's normal reliability with the minor sacrifice of some ponies.
  17. Have to agree, the guy in Falkirk area does sound good, so i think i might bite bullet and go for the work. Will obviously post a report once its all done! Thanks for the help guys. The blue dragon, I touch goats again!
  18. Well calling on your experience and advice again lads. As title, has anyone used Chips Away? How were they? Would you recommend or avoid? Came out for a quote recently and thinking about letting them loose on car to sort out some stone chips, completely spray front bumper and refurb all 4 wheels. Any feedback much appreciated.
  19. No horrors here, as title may have suggested. Just my front splitter is quite peppered with stone chips and i will be looking to get it sprayed in new year. Also a couple around rest of car, nothing too serious. Basically im looking for a recommendation of a very good body shop that you guys have used in central scotland area to spray the splitter and work on the few chips? Thanks for any help
  20. Thanks all for the welcome guys. And yeah mine was a fellow SIDC member car.
