WOW!!
Two fantastic well looked after motors.
Lot of nice mods especially to your own.
Keep up the good work.

Thought about these before, but 1. They don't look right on a blue car, 2. I do not have a single Cusco mod on my car, so it wouls seem rather silly. In saying that though, I don't wear DC shoes either! But that said, the SC Shoes branding is a recognised Rally car livery, so it is a kindof copy, if you know what I mean. I hope so, cause I don't, haha!
Think these would look great on your car John, if the red was replaced with gold!

Looks like my Aviator!!

Blue is the colour of the sky, and the colour of your cars is fairly suited to an evening sky... it works....
Thought it was more a dark grey almost black in the west?!

Morning and welcome Paul!
Classic looks great but it must have been hard giving up the Cossie.
Certainly looks a stunning well kept example.
Sure the Scoob will get the same treatment.

Haha! I would LOVE that but it would cost a fortune! When I was looking for a plate before I found W6LSH and it was 5 grand! That's a PPG gear box, a new turbo, and remap. With change left over for a few track days! I would love it though
Is there a link for it?
Gets a mention in this weeks Auto Express P13.
Quoting – expected to sell for over £3,000!!
Cheap at half the price!!!
One problem though – the auction is in Wales – may be a popular plate?!

John,
forget the graphics for the moment!
DVLA Auction 16-18 April – WEL5H – a must for you!!!

Congratulations!
Hope all is going well and all the best.

Love those front lights!
Are they any good? Better than standard or does it all depend on the bulbs you go for?
Also think they match the rears perfectly so a big from me.

Geo,
Can’t believe that’s 10 years old – absolute minter.
They must keep there cars wrapped in cling film in Japan.
Bet you’re delighted Kev.

Jim,
Looks like all your Christmas’s and Birthdays have come at once.
Fantastic looking motor that must have been well worth the wait!!
Have a great day!!

If I was going to change it would be for a bike!
An APRILla with FOOL race spec!!

Ahhhh, you have never been to Hypertech then. You couldn't get a bunch of friendlier or more helpful poeple in the trade IMO.
I’ll second that!!
Listen to the advice and don’t learn the hard way like some of us have!

Great to catch up with lots of folk yesterday!
Big thanks to Higgy for taking Dougie out and bringing him back in one piece – car is looking and going fantastic!
In fact there were a hell of a lot of great looking cars there altogether.
Some great pics as usual, think the SICC (Subaru Impreza Camera Club) is expanding all the time – how you can afford both as a hobby is beyond me.
I don’t have enough organs in my body to sell!!

Scott and Rosie,
Thanks for all the effort you have put in, seen and unseen.
Always made me feel very welcome and will be a hard act for someone to follow!!
Hope you both will still attend events.
Thanks again

Crazy Horse aboard THE BLACK BEAUTY – can’t wait to see it!!
Simon – be gentle with her until Saturday – we know what you’re like!

Simon,
Car is looking and obviously going fantastic!!
I take it the last pic is what most of us will see of the car – the back as it heads of into the horizon!!
You must be as happy as a happy man on happy pills.

If you are looking for a contact for a good deal, give me a shout as my Brother-in-law works at the Nissan Dealership.
He sells the commercial stuff, but i’m sure he will help you out!

After a long day at work.
Heading home at about 7.20 and passed a Police Van at Causewayside.
It pulled out and followed me for the next mile before sticking on the blue lights and full beam.
I thought it must be for the number plate.
But no, one very friendly gentleman just making sure it was me, the owner, driving the car.
Told me to keep the car safe as they were getting fed up chasing thiefs in stolen ones.
And PS you’d better get the plate fixed, that S looks awfully like a 5 – and he is right, from certain angles it does.

John,
Is this you looking for a car for Sharon?
Sounds like a fair swap – only joking!!
Agree the car looks much better in the flesh, still not quite sure though.
Did you have the car all to yourself or did the salesman go with you?

Well I admit I do like the 6x4 oval that (magnex?) do... but I have to say that I'm unsure about this one... I think that I would have to see it in the flesh to say for sure, and I think that the inside of that would need to blacken down a bit too..... perhaps if the edges were rolled a little...? I think that it just looks a little flimsy...?
please dont take my comments all bad like, as it does not look all as bad as that, it really does suit the cut out in the bumper... and I like the shape...
No offence taken!
Totally understand what you are saying and know everyone likes different things – think it would look great with the edges rolled also.
Derek
PS Thanks to DougieC for recording the video, your lungs will clear soon.

Thanks for all the comments so far!
All very positive too!!
Will try and get a sound clip up over the weekend – as it does sound fantastic!!!

Back from Meercat and can only say a huge thanks to Willie (for donating) and Scott (for all his hard work and directing me, it’s in the middle of nowhere)!
Car is sounding (not quite loud enough for the kids but nearly bearable for the wife – well until the tunnel on the M8) and looking fantastic (well not everyone’s taste eh Willie).
Didn’t go for the standard round tailpipe, but will post up pics tomorrow (too dark now) to let you all see and comment – I do not offend easily!
Also thanks to G.T. and ally-b for the Ship Inn (fantastic food – had to wait 30mins for a table on a Tuesday lunch) and RSPB Centre (Buzzard about 100 metres away, sitting on a branch in front of the centre, must have been the sight of the day.
Also good to catch up with fai 17 – lovely M3!
Thanks again to Meercat

Time For The Final Phase ! 2.5
in Scottish Scoobies
Posted
Glad your keeping the car!
Watched it getting built as mine was in at the same time.
Glad it is all up and running as I know you had a few problems too.
Sure the 2.5 is a huge step and i’m sure the guys at SW will get it well sorted as you only have to look at Higgy’s to see what they can do!
Good luck
Derek
