About russell_bevan

  1. A big thumbs up for Goodyear Eagle F1's if anyones in the market for new tyres. I've just replaced my pirellis with these and its completely transformed the car. Along with my recently new front and rear strut brace's the car feels so much sharper and just grips and grips and grips through corners.
  2. Absolutely awesome film, would recomend to anyone.[Y]
  3. In my experience chavs have their fog lights on while driving their corsas in town on a saturday night and think they look cool.
  4. Fitted one in my classic a few weeks ago, real fiddly job. The rear seats had to be unbolted and pulled out, so did the seat belt reels. It only took about 30mins, but you just have to make sure you have all the correct sockets to hand.
  5. Why do you want the K&N, cause if anyhting you'll lose power through heat soak. I've got a HKS panel filter in mine and it works well, I would rather have the power than the noise, anyway thats what the exhaust is for.[]
  6. Hi boss, prepare yourself for alot of fun in your scoob!
  7. Brilliant show today with alot of vey nice scoobys in all shapes and guises. Alot of you guys must have been there cause there were loads and loads of people wearing the subaru jackets and T-shirts. I'll post up some pics as soon as I get them sorted, meanwhile if anyone else has any i'm sure everyone would be interested to see them.
  8. Not sure what make the front one is, looks like it could be from an sti due to the pink strut tops. The rear is an ebay special. I went out for drive today and when going around a round about at a normal pace (where the car would normally grip very well) the car understeered quite badly. would this have anything to do with making the car more ridgid or could it be that the roads were slightly greasy. If it is to do with the car being stiffened up what can i now do to help reduce understeer? I've heard that uprating the rear antiroll bar can help.
  9. Fitted front and rear strut braces yesterday to my classic wrx, feels alot sharper on turn in now. couldn't believe how fiddly fitting the rear one was, with having to unbolt and take out the rear seats , remove the seatbelt rollers and only having about 3" of room to get my ratchet in. Well worth the effort though, plus they look pretty cool too. I recomend to anyone who hasn't already done it.
  10. I think it'll look better in real life and out on the road, but deffo not as good looking as the earlier pics promised.
  11. Thats the look i'm going for with my scoob []
  12. I've got £20 burning a hole in my pocket so i'll gladly take it off your hands.
