About Goldrims1

  1. The Hamster is THE hero for me, so pleased he's back with us on the box, lets hope theres no underlying issues that come up later on in his life, he says he's fine lets hope he stays that way. Was totally shocked when i heard of the accident the runway he was on is 2 miles from me in York. Long may the hamster play with fast cars!!
  2. This is my whole point on this subject, i'm gonna have a more detailed look round mine tomorrow and see if can see any of these tell tales. I know it has the 98 ron sticker thats it so far and no certificate. All I know is mine goes like hell and is eating fuel like its going out of fashion doesn't really seem to matter how you drive it really still guzzles the stuff. Getting the odd wiff of clutch too when pulling onto driveway guess i must be slipping clutch slightly. Anyone used scooby clinic near chesterfield
  3. Was told by previous owner it was the larger turbo model????? 295hp, will definately get it checked out over xmas as to what the exact spec is. Do the standard 265hp STI's come with the full brembo calipers etc etc?? Sorry for been so thick about a car i own but never really thought about it til now
  4. Yeah thanks for that I did thinkk they looked like that, like I say mines the dark blue 295bhp model so i'm told, iinterestingly tho the wr1 and standard sti if there is such a thing wasn't any different on insurance. Anyone have an idea what it'll be worth to sell, i got it rather cheap off a very wealthy friend
  5. I'm certain this will have been asked many times so if a thread does exist please point me in right direction. I've got an 05 WRX STI, alledgedly a WR1 according to the rego plate and insurance company. Its in the classic electric blue with gold 17's now I thought the WR1's were light blue and liimited edition, has mine been registered at birth as one or is it genuine, Chassis number would tell no doubt but our dealer in York has closed. Any help would be marvelous
