Happened to me a while ago with my MY00 at Tesco in Cumbernauld due to the antena arrays on the town centre, had to wait for a bust to pass in front of me and hey presto the key fob worked again. Found out I could only park safely at the side of the Tesco building where the car was sheltered from the radio signals!!

I passed tesco extra in Cumbernauld last night and the signs have appeared for super unleaded at 87.9/litre, wonder if this is the 99 RON stuff??..

Try Eurojap in Coatbridge they are a breakers year (not sure of number), I got a new driveshaft from them same day a while back, subaru said it would take 2 weeks to get a new one through dealer network. Worth a shot I guess....

Same here, got my 06 Sti in Sept, got service book last week after getting the 1K service done, though Ian Grieves said they would stamp it next time. As for the warranty think I am only down 2 months on the full 3 years as they obviously bought the car in July from Cyprus. 6K is a massive saving, and alarm was £250, tracker £300 and nuts £30 from halfrauds. So far so good! Dont know if I need to do anything to register with Subaru UK or whether MP has done this - filled in some forms at the place in Glasgow for subaru....

It was about 200 quid cheaper to get rebuilt, but I spend the extra to get all new parts!

Sorry to hear that mate Had this happen to me last year 99 Classic, 2500 rpm what can only be described as the sound of a pneumatic drill. Turned out to be big ends away and had to have engine replaced ;-(

Yup, just had my 1000 mile service done yesterday at Ian Greive's - MY06 WRX STI, the fun begins!!
