thread hijack ... GG how much does he charge for scooby remaps? I already have a ecutek Had a look on his forum but doesnt look as if its in use anymore

Feel free to ask him how much to fit a FPR, 3 port boost solonoid and a diff oil change ;-) Might pop up next week to check the place out

Do they really know their scoobys then? someone mentioend they were a honda specialist

Whats the price for ecutek remap if it might not have been mapped by him but by another ecutek dealer? Frank C - Did you get any answers to the FPR question? I was thinking about putting that on and 3 port boost solonoid, as thats on the list for Andys 390bhp recommendations and i think I have everything else

What was the AVA disaster? They did all my mapping on my last car (not a scoob) What else do Hypertech do? Are they tuners, mappers or just fit parts? Hearing good things about them and thinking of popping up Do they give advice on whats needed to make them faster?

Dont suppose he would check the ecutek maps thats on and if he thinks he can tweak it to make it better then do it? It was remppaed two years ago

How many could he do in a day? Any rough prices?

What about mytyres.co.uk and just get them fitted locally? I used the online service and it lets you choose online what company fits them for the all in one price. You also get to pick time and place. Got a decent 18" tyre fitted for £75 quid

Got it down to the garage today and they very kindly fitted me in . It was an air flow meter issue and spark plug issue, so its back running Girlfriend just stole a shot of it and has totally fallen in love with the power.

Im 21 miles from Lanark and Hillington is about 12 miles away but if there is a wee meet in Lanark I wouldnt mind taking a wee drive up and meet some of you guys

Is the MAF easy to test or get a new one then. Is the JDM MAF the same as UK. Any ideas on cost for fix. Lets hope some garages are open tomorrow while im off. Weird thing is the guy that I got it off said its been running like that for ages and he thinks it was fine. Maybe it just got much worse today as it was revving much higher last night without this issue. Anyone in Glasgow fancy a quick swap to test?

Private sale. I think they said powerstation but it was remapped 2 years ago. Hopefully a small boost issue. Im sure I can hear a dump valve in the car but cant find it. Was thinking maybe it was leaking, or there was a boost leak somewhere as there is quite a noise when turbo spools up. It does hit and hold full boost which made me think there wasnt a leak

Open cone? Not sure. I think its a K&N typhoon which I suppose is a cone induction kit? MAF sounds interesting. Is that the Air flow meter? Can the induction kits blow them. If it was that would it run OK off boost, apart frmo low idle (is 400rpm idle normal?) It was remapped 20k miles ago for UK fuel so hopefully thats fine.

Yeah its been remapped for uk fuel. Apparently for Tesco Super Unleaded but any super unleaded should do. car seems to be getting worse Felt horrible coming on boost and very stuttery. Hi Guys, Thought I would say hi now im an actual owner of a scooby Picked it up yesterday (6 hour drive each way but hopefully worth it!) Think it has a few wee issues with it that I need to fix so might ask for some help if anyone is local. Think there is a bit of a boost issue where it stutters and maybe boosts too high. Its a 2003 JDM with a few tweaks. any other JDM owners in the Glasgow area? Hopefully get along to a meet (if there are any) and meet some of you. Cheers Ross

amazing how many folk moan about crail and the condition (me to) but we still go. Just a shame there isnt anything else better nearer. Im hopefully getting my first scooby this weekend so looking forward going up to Crail and seeing what it can do. Hope it beats my old best time in my 200sx of 13.2 since its 4 wheel drive and should get better starts.

Let me know if you have a price in mind or what your offered if you were to part exchange as im on the lookout for a newage scooby Any idea of your power output and if its the 2l or 2.5 ? Cheers Ross
