Hi Neil car should be ready just waiting to get the other caliper from Compbrake, not sure if the broken caliper has been sent away yet. I've mentioned to Stevie car needs to be ready for the 7th never been let down knowing hime he will take it off his own car lol as i have the majority of it anyways whats a set of RS4 brake amongst friends hope you read this Stevie W cough cough if you want to organise something neil im deffo up for this.

Running PPG straigh Cut in mines 1st 4th with steel forks 5th gear standard, look forward to seeing your car down the strip should see an 11 with it..and will be watching you closely to see if you use your brakes lol

Hi Adam yes noticed the wet patch on the bed when we dismounted it from the truck leaky hose, also Stevie has looked at the caliper it's sheard off from the hub looks like a failure on the alloy bracket, Will be speakinng to compbrake today.. Hopefully get a result will be up and running for the 7th Nov.. for this elusive 10 lol

When we took the wheel off the alloy had snapped off and the bolt was only i'n about 6 threads the bolt just unscrewed on a few turns by hand couldn't really get a proper look.. Will let Stevie diagnos whats happened and let him see what and if there was a fault !!

Got compbrakes 6 pots possibility the bottom bolt has been working loose a bit of damage inside the wheel nothing major thank god ..What's the norm for securing the bolts ?? Was told bye another subaru mechanic that there should be a spring washer then a washer and he then locktites the bolts ..

Indeed slept i'n this morning and the wife was ment to take me through to get the car, so decided I would jump on the bike ohh it was a bit chilly still at 10:00 anyways got the car. And had a lovey drive up... Once at Crail signed my self on and then met Jason W of the forum and what a nice chap indeed he offered me to offload jerry cans into his friend s car which I kindly did. Then after 20 mins chatting decided to take WL a run down the track. Dropped tyre pressures and was still on more half a tank. Took the car too the start and though I would do a mild launch just to get use to the car again, off I went squirming down the track finding it hard to get traction one the car dug i'n it was brill felt really good. And the DISASTER luck had rum our once again. Once over the line at the end started to break and felt a sponge yes pants went brown as the edge was getting closer lol hand brake deployed slowed me down the took it easy up to the pit and gently tapped the break and suddenly came to a stand still. Caliper had snapped at the bottom where the bolt was and decided do imbed i'n my wheel game over today. Thanks to Jason and friend and everyone else that helped got the car pulled of the route back to the pit took the wheel off to check damage caliper fecked called recovery had back to garage boo hoo. Again thanks Jason for staying with me untill recovery turned up good bloke. So not too shabby for a first run I can see a 10 no problem now. Cheers phill yes the cars running so diffrent yes T/A is looking not to bad for next year.. The set up on the car is so much better with Andy working some magic. The NOS system is installed and enabled but as its a dry system (and injectors are maxed) then we are currently only using it to spool the turbo quicker between gears, it shuts off progressively from 1.5 to 1.75bar and anything under 3000 and over 6000rpm as controlled by the ECU. It wasn't used on the dyno run would of been nice to see the graph with the Nos. Hi Wilky yea would be great to meet up mate, when you come back over to the I'm untill then stay safe bro. Adam ref your ? The answer to that one mate same engine just needed to fit the missing jigsaw parts that's all, the car was only running 1.65 then at 619/ 485 It's night and day now far more responsive and going how it should be at 1.95 641/600 and it does pull like a train now there is still a few missing jigsaw nits to have it to it's max that will happen next year..
