funnily enough,mine died last week,noticed HDD light was not doing anything,so replace hard drive,it started working:)20 mins later,spat disc out and turned off,went into safe mode tried everything,but no avail,spoke to sony will replace unit for £128 with a 3 month warrenty,chap i spoke to said it's better to buy a new one and get the 12 month warrenty and take out an extended one,so have done old PS3 is in the hands of a friend,it's being repaired,only costing £65 to sort,happy days,so will soon have 2 PS3's

no bud,just means there's better pressure there,only time more fuel will be used is whem you hit the "loud" pedal constantly,most owners go for an uprated pump,de-cat or sport cat n high flow air filter before mapping,a considerable differance will be noticed just by changing the forementioned componants n a fresh base map:)

you will have noticed a differance bud,higher pressure from the the pump results in better fuel delivery and the injector duty will have risen a tad too;)
