any ideas how much a remap is for 95 ron fuel and wheres the best place to have this done?? Im assuming that around the 300bhp mark will be the safe limit for regular unleaded.

I was thinking that. I used to use the nitrous Formula stuff in my other subaru. Is this still thought to be the better stuff ?? Heres a few photos of my classis shape impreza i used to have. I actually sold it on here a number of years ago.

Hi all, I used to own a 2000 my UK turbo a while back and loved it. Moved away from subaru's for a while and entered the World of Fast Fords. I currently have a Focus ST225 as a daily run about and a 1988 2wd Sierra Cosworth as a weekend hack. Im looking to sell the Focus and Buy another Impreza to use for daily purposes. The Recent Snow has had me longing for my old 4wd turbo Anyway im hoping to get myself a 2005-2006 STI Type-UK but my problem is with fuel use. I have a fuel card through work, but i am only permitted to use Standard 95 Ron fuel. Its probably been asked a 1000 times, and im planning on ringing subaru directly before comitting to buying a one. But interested to know peoples thoughts and what the 'official' line is on the UK-STIs with regards to everyday use of 95 ron fuel. Is it just a case of performance loss, or will it cause engine failure. Thanks in advance

Nice motor. I got the exact same one 2 months ago, their mint. Had mine 2 days and some tosser in a BMW X5 decided he wanted a closer look in my boot. £2000 later it's looking new again. Dark mica blue, an excellent choice. I changed the ECU to a 99spec one, it made a noticeable difference to the performance and driveability. Enjoy
